We really enjoyed our healthy meals and the decor. Our waitress was fantastic and super kind. I can’t wait to go back. Love this local hometown business.

Great location sitting by the water with some baby ducks swimming around. Had the cauliflower appetizer which was amazing! Excellent flavors with the sauces accompanying it. The table also has the crab cakes which were amazing as well. The swordfish was fantastic and again the sauce was bursting with flavor! Very pleasant staff! Would loved a little focaccia bread from that wood fired oven but that's my opinion. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Loved it! The food was excellent quality. Minus a swordfish dish that was essentially a scrambled egg with fish - it needed a crunch. Our service was absolutely excellent. Perfect for a date night! Will absolutely be back!

Decor and ambience 4.5 stars. Drink menu is 5 stars, but the actual drinks were 1 star especially at $14 each. Service was 4 star. Food was 1 star! -Autumn salad was bland ($14). -Roasted cauliflower wasn't roasted and had consistency of boiled cauliflower drenched in oily flavorless sauce ($14). -Baked rigatoni in vodka sauce was overpowered by a gooey sweet butternut component with burnt rigatoni on top and over cooked watery pasta on bottom, topped by dry burnt mozzarella ($22).-Faroe Island salmon requested medium was burnt to a crisp and simply tasted like oil. Setting was dry over-cooked broccoli with black burnt edges and hard stems. Chef basically destroyed a delicate piece of fish ($30).Didn't bother getting more than one drink or dessert. Underwhelming at best. Won't be back and won't recommend to others. (Note: recent reviews average 2 star while older reviews 4-5. Also it's been mentioned that during weekends the quality drastically decreases. We went on a Friday night).

I think Kiki is a bit pricier than it should be, but they do have really great specials which make it worth going!! The burger night is a great deal and they have 50% off drinks for happy hour as well. Burger and side salad were great, especially for $10. The apps (burrata and pumpkin ricotta) weren't as good, chocolate cheesecake was fantastic and we ordered a second slice to go. The staff was also super friendly and accommodating! Will definitely return for another burger night.

We were traveling through Charleston and decided to try this place. The ambiance is great and it's a comfortable setting. I ordered a plain burger and my wife a steak. Mine came out wrong. They served my wife the steak and she was finished before mine came. I tried to cancel mine so we could leave but the waitress Michelle said no and brought it. When the bill came and the manager didn't even bother to come over, I asked if he had been informed. She said I could speak with him. He wasn't the regular manager but an acting manager since the regular one had left already. He proceeded to tell me I ordered it wrong and that was why I had to wait!Although the burger ended up being good, we won't be returning due to poor management.Parking: Convenient and right in front

This place started off strong and it was great to have a solid restaurant where many have failed. Unfortunately, the last few visits have been disappointingly the same; the food is fine enough but the price points are not. From starters to entrees, it all seems a bit overpriced for the level of dining, and I don't want to pay Hall's drink prices at a casual place in Mt P($10 for well rum & coke(Don Q) & $17 for a Ketel One martini). The menu does have nice variety and the atmosphere is enhanced by the open kitchen.

We made a last minute decision where to eat and our hostess made it easy to call and get a table for 4 at 7:00pm on Friday. She easily confirmed my name and phone number through Resy. The food and ambience are great. Love the green plants, simple coastal decor and open kitchen concept. The holiday decorations were also lovely, and simplistic. No clutter at the front door or tight spaces between tables and the bar.We started with the Bere Toscan wine however our server struggled to remove the cork. My friend offered to help as the bottle leaned to far and looked as if it were going to fall on the table. Never seen a server try to open a bottle on the table. Wine is to be opened off the table to avoid crowding with the dinner settings or in this case losing control of the bottle with a slip trying to pull out the cork. It was awkward as she seemed inexperienced with wine tools and presentation. Then she hurriedly poured it into our glasses without asking if we wished to taste to ask if we liked it and walked off. As a fan of Super Tuscans we were disappointed and thought it was a bit flat.As for the food, we did not have starters. We told our server twice we had already had appetizers before we came to the restaurant. I ordered the autumn salad and added the shrimp. I would highly recommend the autumn salad as a lighter meal and it is a very generous portion. The shrimp were amazing, great seasoning, and cooked perfectly. I was glad our server made this recommendation before ordering my go to - the chicken. Two friends preferred the NY Strips yet thought the balsamic reduction made their their steaks a bit too sweet. I had one bit and could not tell but I was pretty sure bordelaise sauce is a sweet sauce with red wine, butter, stock and shallots not balsamic but maybe there was balsamic which made it taste even sweeter. I am not sure. They said the mushrooms, potatoes and chard were delicious. The presentation and cooking preferences were on point (med rare and medium) and they ate over half so it must have been very good! The 4th diner said her crab cakes were just okay. We didn't want dessert. For the slight disappointment and price of the entrees and wine this visit did not meet expectations of the previous visit but will definitely return. The autumn salad was delicious, the steaks were cooked perfectly even if a bit over seasoned. I did not try the crab cakes and not sure what made them "okay". A friend highly recommended the chicken club sandwich at lunch. He said it's not just any club sandwich so we'll be back to try lunch to enjoy the patio.

I was so excited for this place based on the hype and "best brunch in Charleston " rating. Brought my parents here for brunch, we arrived when they opened at 11am. Atmosphere was welcoming, well decorated, and friendly staff. Service was all right. First we ordered the cinnamon bun, which was tasty and well presented in a cast iron skillet. I got the shrimp tostada, which was cold. The avocado didn't have a ton of flavor but I enjoy the complexity of the dish otherwise. My mom got the breakfast mac and cheese, which she described as lackluster. The entrees were significantly delayed as 2/3 had potatoes - and the potatoes were apparently not ready when the dishes were ready. Once they arrived, potatoes were undercooked. My dad ordered the bacon & eggs breakfast which was honestly not even worth taking a photo of. The amount of (undercooked, cold) potatoes on his plate was almost depressing. Everything was just a little underwhelming and therefore disappointing. Also was hoping for coffee drinks/variety for breakfast, but they only offered drip - this would be an easy way to make more money!

I've come here 3 times now and every single time the food is out of this world, and the servers are spectacular. I have had the shrimp and grits, hummus, half a chicken club and their caesar salad. All absolutely wonderful. I know they are changing their menu so I am excited to see what is up next! However, their blueberry banana bread pudding was awesome, I hope they keep it! I love their large wine selection as well. The interior is very quirky, trendy and cute. I love their outside seating next to a small pond and water fountain. Its perfect for a glass of wine on Sunday or afterwork. Easy parking all around as well, with cute stores nearby.

I was looking forward to come here with my girlfriends. I guess I shouldn’t have.I ordered shrimp and grits for the table. Shrimp was decent but grits was very undercooked, polenta crunching under my teeth due to it being so raw. You could even see a layer of milk/cream separating from the grits. Zero flavor. As my main course I ordered their burger with a Cesar salad on the side. The salad was the only thing that tasted ok. The burger had no veggies on it, with the rest of it being very dry. The onion rings cold and crusty.I had originally planned to order their chocolate cake for desert but I couldn’t put myself through another disappointment. It’s too bad this place didn’t work out. It looks nice, the atmosphere and decor are lovely but the food was just terrible.

Loved Kiki & Rye. Beautiful ambiance and great food. We had excellent harissa carrots for app and chicken club with Caesar salad. Can’t wait to bring friends and family.

This is a beautiful restaurant and we loved the live music for Sunday brunch. I really wish you had fresh brewed tea instead of the plastic bottles being served. In the south, fresh brewed tea is really a must, and also it's just such a waste to use plastic. Just a suggestion :)

As always Kiki & Rye didn't disappoint. Both the food and service are amazing. Everyone in our group of four enjoyed the appetizers and entrees immensely. We'll continue to treat friends to this wonderful neighborhood spot.
