Absolutely amazing! Adam our server was awesome and very knowledgeable! The hostesses were very welcoming! The bone in ribeye, the wine suggestions from Adam, the green beans, whipped potatoes, soft shell crab, and the wedge salad were all absolutely perfect!! I don’t think you can go wrong here and would come back regularly if I lived here. If I had one complaint at all was the bartender could have been more friendly, but we all have bad days. Great job overall!

This restaurant steals tips. Curious to know more? Read on…Let me tell you why my first trip to Langdon’s will also be my last. For starters, we’re not strangers to fine dining and frequently enjoy eating at Hall’s. I found Langdon’s to be, at best, mediocre. The food was fine… the service was good… neither met the $100+/pp level. My NY strip was one of the best cuts of meat I’ve ever had…. It’s just a shame it wasn’t prepared as well as it could have been. If you order the Foie Butter, expect about an ice cream scoops worth. That said, the REAL reason I’ll never go back is the reason you shouldn’t either. We were stunned to find a 3.5% PRE-TAX credit card fee. That’s right. We got taxed on a fee, which I’m not even sure is legal. Even if it is… it certainly isn’t the right thing to do. As if that wasn’t outrageous enough, we learned that the “fee” is actually 7%, with the remaining 3.5% being taken out of our servers tips. This whole wave of restaurants passing along the cost of doing business to consumers is one thing. To take money out of the tip jar is yet another. If you can’t afford to run your business, raise your prices. Hit me for $59 on my steak instead of $57. DO NOT make your employee share in your cost of business.Ultimately, I found Langdon’s to be marginally better than a run of the mill steakhouse. In no way does it hold a candle to some of our finer downtown choices. In fact, just based on food alone and total value I’m not sure I’d over go back. Add in the owners lack of transparency and clear disregard for hard working servers and it will be a cold day before I ever revisit one of their restaurants. I’d encourage you to consider doing the same.

Very disappointed this time. Been going here for years. The staff is always friendly and kind. However, the food this time was less than average. When you are paying 48.00 for a steak you don't expect to get the butt end of the steak. It should be a center cut...always! I asked for medium well and it came out bloody and medium rare, because the butt end of the steak is a tough part to cook correctly. Therefore, shouldn't be served to a paying guest. Though the asparagus was very good the potatoes were ice cold. I've been hearing some less than impressive reviews and was hoping it was just a once in a chance, hoping this is not their new normal.

Second time around. First time food was decent but took forever. Second time had to wait about 20 minutes for a table despite having reservation and table still wasn’t available. We were asked to stay at the bar. No updates provided. Zero customer service. Zero interest from the staff in at least make this experience more pleasant. Definitely do not recommend.

Never once have I ever been disappointed with the food or the service! It's the perfect place for a first-class dinner with drinks and conversation. I highly recommend their cold-water oysters, Steak Diane, and Crème brûlée!

WOW!!! WHAT A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE!!I haven’t been able to get to LANGDON’s RESTAURANT in quite some time!! I will say they haven’t missed a beat!Unfortunately, so many great places in Charleston & Mt Pleasant have failed to deliver TRUE customer service. The food and atmosphere at LANGDON’s were exactly as I remember. Most importantly, the customer service was an ABSOLUTE “10!”From the moment we approached the hostess stand, onward to the sweet girl that poured our water glasses, and to the main event and server!!! MEG was so great!! I can’t rave enough about MEG!! She was on point, so warm, sweet, and pleasing!!!We enjoyed y’all!!!!!
