Favorite grocery store! There are always deals and the gas points are next level! The layout of the store is well thought out. Also shout out to their graphic designers because putting the bar code on the TOP of the water bottles is the best! I don't know why companies put it at the bottom of the package so you have to struggle to get to it during checkout. It seems so obvious! Thank you Lowes Foods for making my day easier everytime I go. Also the staff is always nice and helpful feels like a real neighborhood store small town comfort that Mt Pleasant hasn't had in decades

I was checking out, and there were two boys in front of me, along with an older gentleman. The gentleman was taking longer than usual, so one of the cashiers standing there looked and said to the boys, "I can take you", so I also went behind them. As soon as she was done checking out the two young boys, she says to me, "Sorry, register closed." I walked out and then came back and commented to a manager. The manager defended her. I said to her, "well, why couldn't she just say I can't ring you up because I can't ring up alcohol sales." Horrible customer service.As soon as I got to my car, she was being picked up by her mother. I guess she didn't want to ring up one more customer. Again, she could have told me she was closed before she rang up the boys.I will never shop there again.

I used to love this store, but something is wrong of late. No one working checkout so you have no choice but to self-checkout even if you have 30 items. At these prices, it’s not unreasonable to expect someone to scan and bag your groceries. But most egregious is the drastic decline in the quality of the meat. Last time I was in there, I couldn’t even find a USDA Choice steak…the best they had was Select…and if I want that I’ll go to Food Lion. I’m .rating 3 stars because of what this store used to be…today, unfortunately, it probably deserves 2. I hope someone in Lowe’s management sees this and can turn this place around.

As a former customer of Lowe's Foods, I'm infuriated by your company's lack of action in regards to your former promise to stop selling the eggs of caged chickens. Why do you continue to support the inexcusable cruelty by selling the product of chicken torture? I can no longer support a company with no integrity or regard for the lives of innocent living beings.

I'm so disappointed that this company refuses to live up to their cage-free egg commitment. They continue to support cruel practices by sourcing eggs from horrible farms that do not prioritize the health of the chickens or the humans that consume them. Live up to your promises and support better practices.
