Food was greasy - meat(chicken or pork) because it was fried. Gyro was filled with fried French fries. I was was the worst sandwich I've had in a long time.

If I could eat here every day I would! Staff super friendly, I feel like I'm talking to family when I order my food. And everything on the menu is but if you don't know what you want I suggest the platter. You can sit and eat at the tables outside the food truck (dog friendly!!) or do take out!

This. Is. Authentic! Just like in Greece. Fabulous food. And they are like a family the way they treat their customers. Everything was amazing: pork gyro, chicken gyro, and chicken souvlaki. (I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it!) Stin igia mas re pedia! Filakia!

I stopped here with my mom after a trip to Trader Joe's. The chicken was so delicious and seasoned perfectly. My daughter really enjoyed the fries. The food came out quickly and there was plenty of seating available for us to grab a quick bite.

Nice little outdoor seating area. Took my order as soon as I walked up. Said it would be ten minutes for food to be prepared..don't think it was that long. Chicken skewers well seasoned and flavorful. Pita bread had a bit of a crispy outside but tender inside. Fries were hot and fresh.

Most authentic Greek food I've had since I went to Greece! Fresh ingredients and very nice family run business.

I have tried this Greek family owned restaurant a few times and every time it has been delicious! The homemade tzatziki sauce is the best I've tried locally without dill. FYI, their spot is to the right of the GDC, if you're coming from Charleston.

Anyone hungry for gyros? Heading to the beach and need a quick snack to go? Conveniently located food truck, My Big Fat Greek Trailer, fits the bill for a yummy quick lunch or dinner packed to go. I picked an original gyro with a mixture of pork and chicken as well as a 2 skewer souvlaki box for dinner. The pita was warm and tomatoes cool and crisp. There was just the right amount of tangy sauce on the gyro and the souvlaki came with tzatziki on the side. Everything was ready quickly and packaged to go but the covered seating area looked so inviting we almost stayed!

Loved the authentic feel of eating Greek food! I got the OG chicken gyro ( forgot my pic because I ate it too fast ) lol. It was delicious ! Service was great and wait wasn't too long. They had seating outside if you wanted to dine in and take in the views ! I didn't get to try the baklava, so I will be back for that ! "This was a Yelp sponsored event "

The food is incredible. We loved both of our dishes but I have to say that the gyro meat was the favorite. The service was excellent. They were friendly and quick in moving the line along and not making us wait too long for our food. Thanks for the great experience. We will be back

My Big Fat Greek Trailer is an absolute treasure on wheels, serving up incredible Greek cuisine that will have you craving more. The standout star is the OG gyro, featuring meat bursting with flavor that's perfectly complemented by crispy fries and a sauce that takes it to another level. If you're looking for more variety, their 2 skewer box is a fantastic option. Both the beef and chicken skewers are incredibly juicy and tender, showcasing the skillful mastery of their cooking techniques. The flavors are simply phenomenal, and you'll find yourself savoring every mouthful. One thing that impressed me was the ability of their food to stay fresh and enjoyable even as leftovers. I saved some of the skewers for the next day and was pleasantly surprised to find that they still maintained their incredible taste and texture. The team behind My Big Fat Greek Trailer is passionate about their craft, and it shines through in the quality of their food and the friendly service they provide. When you come across this food truck, don't hesitate to give them a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It's an experience that will leave you wanting more, and you'll find yourself eagerly anticipating the next time you stumble upon this delightful Greek treasure on wheels.

Stopped here on a hungry whim. Greek is my favorite type of cuisine and I'm usually up for trying a new place. My son lives in the area and says this food truck has been around for awhile, so I was happy to try it.First of all, their gyros were really good. They claim "real" gryos served in Greece are served with fries inside. That was not my experience, but my son has been there more recently than me and he said they were... who knows? Their gyros are served with seasoned pork and beef. Again, not what I know as authentic, but they were really good. From a cost perspective it's a smart move as pork is less expensive. They can offer bigger portions and/or not have to raise their costs as much by using pork. And I will say, they were really delicious. The pita was also great. The man working the booth was really friendly and while I can't remember exactly how much the gyros were, it seemed fair. If you're not super hungry, you could probably share one and be okay. I'll look for their truck next time I'm in Charleston without hesitation.
