If you're in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. you have to eat here, and drink and have dessert! This is what I was looking for...delicious seafood, beautiful presentation, an amazing new drink (ask for Stefan, he'll know) and the Baked Alaska...hell yeah!!

Slow service rude waitress. To be fair the food is great. However at this price point the servers should show up more than twice and not be sarcastic. I may be old school however, I believe that most people can cook at home. So when they come out, they pay for an experience.

I can't recommend Nico enough! Every dish we tried (you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I highly recommend the calamari, duck cassoulet, and flounder) was out of this world. Deena's wine recommendation was spot-on and she and her team work together so well to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere. Caroline's attentive service ensured we had a perfect evening. I'd been in for brunch a few times but hadn't been in for dinner, and we'll be back soon.Cheers!

Came here for dinner on a weekday and there were a couple of empty tables. We ordered oysters to start, along with the calamari and bread. The calamari was amazing! The oysters were also amazing and fresh. I decided to order the oysters which were made well, but a little on the dry side. The price for this restaurant is definitely on the higher side considering the portions. The service was good otherwise, and the drinks were well crafted.

Kid-friendliness: We brought my twin nephews. The server was AMAZING! Engaging with the twins, making sure they got their food first.Wheelchair accessibility: The hostess this evening noticed we had a disabled member in our party. She promptly, made accommodations, e.g. we didn’t valet our car but she asked for my keys; giving them valet attendant so that we could easily leave the restaurant.

This place is amazing! We took our daughter here for her 14th birthday and literally it could not have been better. Dad (me) did not make a reservation and they somehow managed to get us a table for four. From the moment we sat down the service, management, even the chefs treated my daughter like royalty. I’ve spent 15 years in fine dining and I was blown away.What made us choose Nico’s was, honestly, reading the responses to the negative reviews. They were intelligent, honest, and eloquent. Working in this industry for so long, seeing a manager stand up for her staff and restaurant in such a thoughtful way warmed mine and my families heart.I feel awful that I cannot remember the GMs name, but she was amazing! As was Patrick (mentioned in several reviews) and our server, Erin, provided one of the best dining experiences we have ever experienced. Icing on the cake was the executive chef hand delivering and explaining my daughter’s birthday desert to her.All things considered, an amazing evening, perfect execution, and a top tier restaurant. Thank you all so so very much, we will be back.
