Five stars take out service. Listened carefully to all requests and provided great recommendations. All items ordered were accounted for with no issues. Their thai seasoning and recipes are comparable to west coast (CA, WA, OR states) cuisine. Living in the southeast coast, finding an authentic, quality thai restaurants are few and far between. So, if you’re in the area and craving for thai food, then I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Try their green curry, sooo yummy!

Pattaya thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Charleston. Only a short drive from downtown and with plenty of parking and options it is very convenient for a casual last minute dinner or pick up. The portions are excellent and In always leave with leftovers , all for a competitive price . I love their big pot soups (tom kah with shrimp is a must, and their panang curry is also amazing) The service is always cordial and fast. cannot recommend enough.

Had a not so pleasant experience with the food, which may have been a result of my own dietary conditions. The response from the staff wasn't great though. I would have expected some more concern , because it was obvious I was in discomfort and could not continue with my food. I cannot rate the food, as I barely ate it. My mum ordered the fried rice, and had minimal complaints however. Our dinner was over pretty quickly due to my adverse reaction to my food.

Terrific food: Beef satay appetizer, and Green curry chicken with shrimp, and with hot green tea! ? With enough to have leftovers for "take home."The service by Ananda was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. And, the atmosphere was very cozy in my booth, with very pleasant light music.

Everything we ordered was delicious! The taste and texture of everything was amazing. We ordered fresh rolls, crab rangoons, Penang curry, pad Thai, chicken fried rice and larb. The brown rice was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend. Sorry, no pictures, it was too good and went too fast.

I've tried every Thai restaurant in Charleston and the Tom Yum and Tom Ka soups at Pattaya Thai are the best I've had in the area. There are 2 sizes of soups you can order and I recommend the larger size because it's only like $5 more so it's better value, the larger size is good to share. These soups are packed with flavor, full of veggies and meat of choice (I prefer the shrimp or seafood). I've also tried the curries here and they are solid, good flavor and they can make it really spicy if you ask. Overall this is a great place to eat at or order take out from!

Do me a favor and update the timings of your restaurant. We drove 30 miles because of the 4.7 ratings but got disappointed shortly after seeing a closed sign board. Updating the restaurant holiday timings on google will help your customers with upcoming inconvenience.

Ordered delivery for one person, so didn't get to sample much from the menu. What I did have, however, was delicious. A veggie spring roll (which can be hit or miss at Thai restaurants), and a super fresh Pad Thai that was really flavorful. Can't speak to other dishes or a dine-in experience, but for delivery food that came hot and was really good, I give them a thumbs up!

The service was terrible. Our waitress was unbelievably rude and condescending, she couldn't answer any of our questions, and it felt like she was just rushing us out and could not be bothered. The restaurant is extremely small with obvious black mold stains all over the booths which is a health hazard. We noticed most customers ordering take out which makes sense they would not want to eat inside this dirty place. The food was truly the worst Thai food we've ever had. The ingredients were anything but fresh or flavorful. The bean sprouts were straight up black and rotten, I could not believe they served them to us! The Chicken Satay was so dry and chewy it was inedible and the peanut sauce had zero taste. The Pad See Ew noodles were bland and the portions were unusually small. There were hardly any noodles in the noodle dish. The chicken was so stale it tasted like week-old leftover microwaved chicken and the veggies were hard as rocks. The Red Duck Curry was underwhelming and not worth the price. It's shocking that this place has any positiv ratings...Perhaps we came on an off day but it was a total disappointment. I recommend eating at Basil or Jasmine for a much better Thai food experience. Red Curry Duck Pad See Ew

Nice place, very friendly staff. The Pad Thai and lemongrass soup are excellent, however the spring rolls were not very good. Spice levels run 1-4 but level 3 was more of what I would consider "Thai Hot" in most other restaurants. (I had sweat running down my ears!). Decent place overall.

Ordered Pad Woon Sen and Chicken Noodle Soup. Worst Thai food we ever had. More like Chinese food gone bad. Pad Woon Sen had a bed of cold & old Chinese veggies underneath the heavy sauced glass noodles - with chicken overcooked. Chicken noodles soup is a bit too sweet. Broth tastes like powder mixed type. We had a few bites and then left. The waitresses saw we barely touched the food but could care less about it. We were disappointed at the food and the service.
