Our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Red Drum was truly exceptional, and I can't praise it enough. Every aspect of the evening exceeded our expectations. The staff was not only professional but also warm and friendly, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed. The food was outstanding, receiving numerous compliments for both its variety and quality. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making us feel at ease throughout the entire event. Words can't express how pleased we were with our experience. Red Drum has certainly won us over as lifelong patrons, and I'll confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.Parking: Not a ton of parking at the restaurant, but plenty of on street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

Some of the best fried shrimp and seafood cerviche cocktail ever. Server told us grilled shrimp were just as good or better. Aging inside space that is quite dark. Nice restrooms. Outside bar had some incredibly drunk people. We came back and Ben from Missouri was a great host and personality.

My family and I went there Saturday night on a fluke and had an amazing experience! From the hostess (forgot her name, I think it was Kailey) to the server (Rob) to management (Charlie) we were accommodated without making the proper reservation. Not only is the staff amazing but the food was amazing. We ordered a number of items and the standout for me and my family was the fresh guacamole (we are from CA, so we are picky about our guac), smoked salmon dip with the fresh tortillas, and the jumbo shrimp. I had the special of the night which was the Mahi Mahi and it was amazing (I should probably stop saying amazing) the only thing I would change is adding more salted caramel to the fresh whip cream for the doughnuts but that’s because we were fighting over it. We were seated in the private dining room which I don’t believe they were supposed to open that area yet but we are glad they did and we got to have a memorable dinner. I would highly recommend the private dining room for special events just be warned that it is a working wine cellar so the staff do come in and out but they are all friendly and they we’re doing their job. I encourage everyone that is looking for a special night out to visit Red Drum. I clearly forgot pictures of the foodParking: They have two lots, the first one become full fat that is attached to the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: My senior grandmother didn’t have a wheelchair that night but she was able to get around the restaurant.

We are from the Texas Gulf Coast, and while visiting the Charleston area, we came to the conclusion the Red Drum is the best restaurant in the area. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time very relaxing. My only concern is the lighting was a little low to see the menu. Other than that a wonderful time.

I had visited here about 10 years ago, more or less. And was looking forward to bringing my adult son. We shared the duck wing appetizer, which was out of this world! The codeine was a very light crispy one. He got the swordfish taco, which the best kind of fish taco I have ever tasted. Normally I never get fish tacos but if I were to get them, it would be here and it would be the swordfish. I pork chop, which was about one and a half inches thick and cooked medium. It came with roasted grape, tomato, garlic, spinach, and seasoned mashed potato with a crispy topping. There’s another word for it, but it escapes me.?Expensive, but to me worth it as a rare tree. Parking can be an issue if they are having an event but there is parking across the street and the signs will tell you that it is also also for red drum. …
