Great atmosphere, awesome band (High Strung), food was good, and overall it was a great time with a packed house. We did have an order that was missed for one of our friends and was too late to have it reordered so I felt bad as he was an out of town guest but it was a packed house so understandable I guess. It was our first time and it’s definitely a place we will be back to visit.

This restaurant was very uncomfortable this evening. It was cold and dark. I could barely see my food. I should have just left.I ordered the French Dip Shaved Steak Sandwich which was good, though it was a clumsy entree to eat in such low light.My side item, sauteed String Beans were not good. They were heavy dosed with jarred chopped garlic and the woody stems were all still attached. I was grooming the stems off in the half light until the garlic overwhelmed me.At this time of year I like cozy, cheefully lit places. They don't have that at the Rivertowne Public House. The woody green bean stems tell me that some of the food is prepared by someone who is not a cook.

Come here a lot with my family because it's very chill and the servers are friendly. They have solid burgers, decent pizza, and a great bar.The service for our last dinner was not great. We had a new server who was very nice and polite but completely overwhelmed.There was a head server who was bringing food out from kitchen. There were three of us and only two of our entrees came out and with the appetizer.The food was swiftly dropped off without eye contact and when we went to ask where the third dinner was she ran off. We couldn't get ahold of anyone for close to ten minutes and then when we did the missing entree had to be reordered.The rest of the table waited so we had cold dinners. Our server did apologize and had the late entree taken off of the bill.I'm really disappointed because we love this place. I don't place blame solely on our server. There needs to better management of getting the meals out and not bringing the appetizers with dinner, and asking the customers as soon as food is placed if there is anything else they need.

Upon arrival my wife and I were seated quickly, but waited 10min for our server to rudely ask what we want. When she brought our water, my glass had a stick in it.Ordered a margarita pizza and a burger medium well. The pizza was under cooked and made without basil or fresh mozzarella. We received a poorly cooked cheese pizza with parsley sprinkled on top. The burger was well done and dripping in grease. Unedible to say the least.After sending our food back and asking for the check, the kitchen manager came out to agree the pizza was improperly made, but argue that the grey burger we received was medium well.Overall, a bad experience and we will not return.

I ordered an onion soup. It was like Spit that they actually served. No cheese no nothing. I only go their for soup. Place going down hill.New manager acknowledged issue but too late. I will never return.
