We sat outside and enjoyed watching the dolphins, pelicans and boats as we ate our trashcan nachos and beverage. Great date night with my wonderful wife.

On of the best stops we made while visiting Charleston! The peel and eat shrimp, grouper fingers and the drinks were amazing!! The atmosphere is great. We sat at a table right on the eater and got to see some dolphins ?!!! Place was slammed but service was fast, drinks were cold and food was hot!! We will absolutely make this a regular stop anytime we are in or near Charleston! Loved it!!

Went on a whim. Hostess station is around the corner by the stairs. There is a black food truck type place that does a similar menu. Food truck is great to grab a drink while you wait for a table.Patio that’s outside is massive, that’s where we sat. Atmosphere is 5 stars as there is something for everyone. Loud bar type, patio with a view, inside quiet.Food was 4 stars. I had the grouper. Good, but it was odd. Only fish I’ve ever had to use a knife and I’ve eaten a lot of fish, grouper included. Wasn’t chewy or overcooked or anything, tasted fine, might just be the “Atlantic grouper” type I am not familiar with.

Our boii @Jonah (and the whale), sweetheart! Just had the best recs The trash can nachos were an experience in itself! Would recommend with the pulled pork (thanks Jonah & ) With that, ordered a 2 item combo with grouper fingers (1st time tryin grouper) and the shrimp. Portions were a wee skimpy, but

We had a great meal and experience at Saltwater Cowboys. Our waiter, Chris did a great job. We spent a week eating our way through fancy, expensive restaurants in Charleston but all of us said that we enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Saltwater Cowboys the best! We loved the bang bang shrimp and deviled egg appetizers. The mahi sandwich, fried shrimp and combo of fried oysters/smoked wings were all very good. We all bought tshirts and BBQ dry rub. Fun place!

Great service! My salmon wasn’t cooked to my liking but they offered me a different meal and took it off the bill. They were very nice and professional!

Excellent atmosphere. Food was so-so. Didn't see our server once we got our food until it was time to pay. Servers are busing tables and not serving patrons.

The little bit I got was $15, it tasted good but I don't think it was worth the price. But I won't complain too much because the waitress was very helpful and nice and the water and ice was soft and very good. This place is more for people who eat seafood.

Heard such good things about this place and we were incredibly disappointed. Food was ok and our server was very friendly and nice however the bartenders were unwelcoming and overall just rude. They absolutely made sure you knew they did not care about your business. They couldn't even get our drinks right. This is a major skip in my opinion. Plenty of restaurants and bars with good food and friendly staff that don't treat you like cattle.

There is a server that works at the bar, specifically working on the night of 4/20/24 who was working at the further bar from the entrance. She is white, with brown hair pulled back on this specific night, and around the height of 5’6, who was the rudest and most disrespectful person I have ever come into contact with. She made me a drink, then I paid for it and tipped her. About 5 minutes later she walked by snatched my drink out of my hand and threw it in the trash, and informed myself and friends that we needed to leave. My friends and I asked her the reasoning 5 times to be exact with no response from her. I had a wristband as well as all of my friends and am are all over the age of 21. This was wildly inappropriate and disrespectful, and ruined my night with my friends. This woman’s behavior was disgusting and embarrassing to the restaurant, as I have typically had a good experience in the past. I strongly recommend evaluating this sever and correcting her behavior.

The service was very poor. We stood at the bar 20 minutes, and bartender never acknowledged us. Inside temp very uncomfortably warm and the food just meh. I won't be back.

Fantastic spot. Right on the water. Tons of shade on the deck. Several bars to hang out at. BBQ was fine but wouldn’t recommend. The grilled shrimp were awesome. Grouper fingers were delicious and light. Would definitely recommend for drinks. We got the dockside lemonade that was delicious but are way stronger than they seem.
