I got a dirty plate, set it tonthe side to get a clean one, server never came back until lunch plates were served. I never got to have the bread. VEGGIE BURGER HAS 0 FLAVOR.

This spot went downhill for me real quick. I ordered the pecan chicken and was served raw chicken with some pecans crushed on top. After sending it back and losing my appetite, the manager rudely offered me a kids menu chicken fingers and fries because I reported that I did not want anything else off the menu. Nothing was comped, service was extremely rude, and overall just very disappointed. I also never got any refills.

I am sad to write a negative review of the Mustard Seed that has served us so well for so many years. But today they served. my daughter completely raw chicken, and really did little to nothing to make up for it. In fact the floor manager was rude and demeaning offering to make her a kids meal to take home. My daughter is a young professional woman. What a disappointing experience.

Used to love love love this place… Ordered the pecan chicken and pink rubber chicken hidden under a few nuts. After finally getting a waiter, they took the chicken back but left me with the rest of the contaminated food to eat (as if I could still enjoy it). After “cooking” my chicken again, they come out with the same slimy piece expecting me to be so greatful. After reporting this to a manager, she asked what else I wanted, but my appetite was ruined so I told her nothing. Then chicken fingers and fries in a very condescending tone. Ma’am, I want no chicken that comes out of your kitchen ever again. Such a disappointing night to see one of my favorites ruined.

The Mustard Seed is known for great food. I think this visit was maybe an off night? My pasta was bland, really bland. The meatloaf was lacking flavor as well and it's a favorite. My daughter didn't finish her burger. The atmosphere is friendly and our service was fantastic. Like I said, I think it was an off night as we have been dining there for years and this time it was just ok.

Overall good experience. Food was decent except the fries were shoestring which are easy to overcook. Brussels sprouts were lights out delicious! Good portions, pork and sauce were good. With the decor I was a little worried I'd get canned green beans but they were fresh tasting and cooked perfectly. Only American cheese or havarti (where'd that come from?) for the burger? C'mon, gotta have some cheddar or something at these prices. But staff were friendly and helpful but not pushy, and that made the experience. Thanks for being open on a Monday!

Service was wonderful, both of the owners checked in on us and were super welcoming. We both ordered the pad Thai (definitely could have split, it was HUGE) and it was so yummy. Definitely would go back!

Hope all is ok at the Mustard Seed since for the first time in years, got food poisoning at lunch. Every member of our party, whether they had salad greens or not, came down with intestinal issues within 10 minutes of leaving restaurant. Since we all had different dishes, wondering what is causing the issues and hopefully they are on top of it.

With the Faith of a Mustard Seed you can move mountains - this establishment moved my newlywed Spouse and I beyond belief. Warm, hospitable, and amazingly wonderful delicacies! The Bourbon Meatloaf and Greens - mouthwatering. Cannot share what a fulfilling and welcoming experience.Highly recommended - hands down, the best restaurant experience we had throughout all the time we visited the Charleston Region. Two thumbs up ?????Ten piggie toes wiggling in the air!Bravissima... Great local spot to get good food. Being a celiac I am limited and I loved the shrimp risotto. We have eaten here twice and liked everything that we have had. I have to say the mashed potatoes are some of the best I have had. Our servers were nice and very good at their jobs.

The food was fresh and tasty. I had a wonderful salad (so big, I have my dinner too) and a pickled veggie appetizer. I will be back.

Had the pad Thai and the burger - the garlic fries are great! Service was on point and the food was equally delicious. The raspberry mint mules were also really tasty. Went there for a lunch date and will definitely be going back!

I went here with family members and was hoping to at least find a few good vegan options but they offered only a veggie burger (minus the bun), salad, and most everything else seemed to have animal products according to the server. I ordered the veggie burger and it wasn't hot except for the cayenne which was its main flavor. Hopefully, they will improve their offerings.

This was our first time here and we had a very enjoyable lunch. The food was excellent and the service was as well. I had the cornmeal fried flounder and my wife had the American Burger. Both were excellent. And we had the corn chowder soup which was also very good. Will definitely recommend.
