Its a beautiful and quaint little cafe! Food was absolutely delicious, had the chicken salad with potato salad and it was amazing. We did read on the website that they are closing in July which is super upsetting so definitely stop by while you can!!!Kid-friendliness: Has a swing for kids.

Cute sandwich spot in a rustic setting. I think it'd work better with counter service - the service was slow and not needed for the casual experience I desire when eating at a sandwich shop.

My daughter has wanted to come here for awhile, and we decided that we would go for a belated Mother’s Day lunch during my visit. Quaint old home turned into cool spot to grab a delicious sandwich. Our server, Tristion, was excellent. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich with potato salad and almost vegan with blue cheese coleslaw. The almost vegan was the winner for the explosion of flavor in each bite. They have a small General Store next door. Definitely recommend!!

Today by luck we found our way to this off the beaten path hidden gem. It is a definite must go the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was unique and the food was amazing. Top notch potato salad and blue cheese coleslaw was fabulous.Vegetarian options: Had vegetarian options for sandwich’s which was great!Dietary restrictions: Had gluten free bread as well which was just as delicious as the regular breads.

Stopped here between the harbor cruise and the USS Yorktown visit for lunch. Hubbie and I split a cuban sandwich and a Greek salad! Menu was soup, salad and sandwiches with a good selection of options and daily specials posted at the door. Nice ambiance with outside seating with umbrellas over the tables and indoor seating. Staff was very pleasant and attentive to all tables. Definitely a place we will return to! Not a deal breaker but the place is small so you have to find street parking, which was not an issue for us and easy to locate.

NOT A PLACE FOR SOLO DINERS. Today's service experience was awful and I won't be back bc of it. I went in for a light lunch at 11am and was never greeted by the waitress. She seemed to be offended that I was dining solo. She never said hello, thank you, or goodbye. Simply asked "What do you want to drink?" "What do you want to order?" I asked for a cup of she crab soup and a side salad and she responded with "the tiny salad??", as though it wasn't clearly on the menu as a "side salad". I said, "you serve 2 sizes of this salad, correct? A dinner size or a side salad. So I will take the side salad." She stated, "ok, so the tiny one." Seriously? I simply want the side salad as listed on the menu whatever size she wants to term it. Also, she greeted the other 4 tables with a warm "Hello" but never greeted me at all. She never offered to refill my empty tea glass, nor did she once check on me to see if my lunch was fine or if I needed anything. Her disrespectful attitude gained her a well deserved low tip. She should learn a little respect and kindness. She is the older waitress there and definitely is not welcoming to solo diners. The food is delicious and the setting is charming so 5 stars for each of those. I would give the service 0 stars if I could. Worst service experience I have had in 20 years of dining in Mt. Pleasant. I won't return but they are closing permanently in July 2023 so I doubt they care.

AMAZING!! We have been wanting to eat here for years, and now we are so mad we have been missing out on this local treasure!!The food was outstanding, service was excellent, and the space is beautiful!! It's very obvious the owner has put their heart and soul into this place. Really one of the most unique dining experiences we have had in the Charleston area!!! Absolutely loved it!!!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! The cutest hidden gem, and so delicious for lunch. They also have gluten-free bread ? We sat in the gorgeous back garden and our waiter was lovely. You have to try this place, especially before it closes over the summer! ? maybe if enough people visit they’ll stay open … ?

Great Sammies! The only weird thing was the mustard on the tuna sandwich... My husband hated that and would just ask for it without next time. Other than that it was fantastic. My Italian was perfect. Definitely would go back and try some more!

Our second time here and it was as good as I anticipated. I had gotten the French Dip sandwich before, and it was one of the best. It was just a good this time. I also had the roasted pepper tomato soup. It was so good I took a bowl home for my daughter to have some. Some turned out to be the whole bowl so I'll have to go back. The service is terrific, the price is right, and I love the atmosphere. You feel like you stepped out of the city and into a little, out of the way country cafe.
