First visit. Service was okay because they only had two people covering everyone. Food was very good, but after drinking a third of my coffee, I saw the inside of the mug was filthy. Ugh! Waitress just said, “ok, I’ll get you another cup”. Just a little disgust or shock would feel better.

While the food was yummy, our server, Ayesha, left us unattended for 20+ minutes. Only after another waitress offered us some waters did she come over to introduce herself. My table was blatantly ignored, along with the other tables in her section, and the restaurant was not even very busy. Not impressed.

The service was good, I just really didn’t personally care for the biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted like something that would go on a pork chop and was way over salted, even for a southerner. It’s just not the traditional gravy that makes biscuits and gravy so good. Also wasn’t a fan of the biscuit, it was dry, overcooked and there wasn’t enough gravy either. Would have preferred a plate where the eggs were on the side versus right on top of the biscuit. The menu should specify that. I think it’s a good spot for a quick, ok breakfast, but nothing really special. The grits and eggs were good.

Server Lavonne was great! Very responsive and pleasant. Had the Florentine Biscuit Bennie. Thought I wouldn’t like it with the biscuit instead of english muffin, but loved it. Egg cooked perfectly and biscuit was yummy. I sat at one of the high tops in the bar area and couldn’t have asked for better service! Coffee was ver good too and they even had oat milk.

Food was a mix of bad to worst. Waffles were bitter, ice tea was served in a chipped glass. Place was filthy, dirty plates and empty bottles on the bar. Restaurant seems to have an identity crisis. Others Toast restaurants might be better, I would do yourself a favor and keep going.

The food was ok. The price is high being we only got breakfast. Little pricey for omelet and 2 sides. Just expect to spend $50.00 for 2 ppl to eat. My 1st and last time eating here.
