I absolutely love this option for healthy meals in the heart of Mount Pleasant. However, I've been multiple times and always order online without complete satisfaction. I have had ingredients like avocado you pay extra for left off and the "shake" or the way it is tossed together isn't so great. The dressing is pretty small for a large salad as well. If you are new and do a to go they do not include silverware and you may have to run back in to be told it is across from them on the wall. As in get your own. This location has great and fresh ingredients, but something is lacking especially in employee attitude.

Went to grab a bowl and in the line saw a black employee fart while in the line making the food and it smelled up the whole place. Disgusting place and also the owners are super rude and a bit racist because I’m black when I tried to tell them of the farting employee and tried to blame me for farting. How dare they

We’ve visited Verde a few times now , food is awesome . The only thing that doesn’t make this place perfect is that every one of our orders had either something missing or the wrong dish all together , also placing orders to go online , when I got there this last time the food wasn’t ready or even started because of their printer not being online so I had to wait for it , something I was trying to avoid because of a meeting I had to get to . Other then that it’s a great place I recommend it for sure .

Unfortunately my husband and I both came down with food poisoning after eating lunch from Verde a week ago. We shared a salad, thankfully my toddler ate something different off the menu and didn’t get ill. We had the rice and quinoa base in our salad, and looking at other reviews now perhaps there is something in the way this is being prepared, stored, and/or handled that is causing issues. Needless to say I won’t be returning to a place that has multiple reviews about food borne illness over a span of time. Something needs to be addressed.Edit to add: it was the Belle Hall location we visited, but I am leaving this here as others have commented on the rice and the issue may be pertinent if it is because of practices that may be at both locations.

Once again Verde came through. Being close by I decided to have their salad for lunch. I chose the seasonal Peach super salad. Chopped veggies, nuts and grains consisting of quinoa and sesame seeds with a large variety of good for you things. A Lemon vinaigrette dressed the salad. Excellently prepared by their great staff. They make a very nutritious salad in a very clean area. Inside seating is available. The places are large enough so you won't be crowded. Plenty of parking and easy to get in. This is my go to for GREAT SALADS. You can order on line and pick up from one of the two locations in Mt. Pleasant with very easy access. I encourage you to try it!

Uncooked rice. Dish isn’t edible and can cause a serious toothache or worse. Same thing has happened at the Belle Hall location several times.

I have only had verde one other time (last week, same location on Coleman) and last time I ordered in person and it was great! Unfortunately tonight I put in an online order and three of the ingredients I ordered where incorrect. I received brown rice and quinoa instead of quinoa tabbouli and I wasn’t wanting all that rice. I asked for roasted chickpeas which are crunchy and crouton-like but received regular boiled chickpeas. I am fairly sure I had to pay extra for these and did not receive them. Lastly and most sadly, I certainly did pay for and was absolutely looking forward to the avocado I order but it was accidentally left out. Not one little chunk or smear anywhere.I would likely eat here again but would not preorder online because my order was incorrect this time.
