Interesting but surprised that only half full on a Friday evening. Attentive server, bold menu, nice wine selection.

Outstanding ! Hands down best meal I have had in years . Tucked away in an old shopping center : this place is a hidden gem . We are very choosy about date night and this place did not disappoint. There is NO need to go downtown for amazing food . Just head over to Ville . It is an experience. My only regret is that we didn't tell the waitress about our time crunch . We were there from 6:30-8:50 and had to get our kid at 9:00 . I would have loved to have dessert. So I have something to look forward to next time . I will for sure be back .

Three of us went to dinner. Our server, Phillip, did a great job. We had mussels for a main course, the flounder, and baked cod. All were outstanding. Imported beignets from France served with profiteroles was an excellant ending (one serving was enough for three). We will return!

A must try! Incredible, the restaurateurs have created an exceptional dining experience, putting special attention into everything, from the seasonal-inspired menu, well sourced wine list, and authentic décor. It has all the hallmarks of your favorite brasserie with the home style cooking that warms the soul. The food is out of this world, with incredible local ingredients - like veggies and fish - playing to seasonal changes. Crab cakes, frog legs, steak, escargots are favorites. The sauces, fresh homemade bread, and range of desserts are all a treat. The service is attentive and knowledgeable. Perfect for both special occasions and everyday. A great place for groups.Vegetarian options: Substitutions are easy in French cooking, the chefs are eager to accommodate all diets.Kid-friendliness: Large restaurant, with booths that allow for family dining.

Wow. Everything we tried was amazing. Service was very attentive, and our server helped us go through the menu and made good recommendations. Good wine selection as well. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing meal! We started with a cheese board which was beautiful with great cheeses and accouterments. My husband had the pork chop and I had a lamb sausage dish. You can tell they cook with love and authenticity. Perfect choice for my birthday!

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The food is fantastic and the owners are great people. Service is fantastic with great attention to detail. The food is quality and delicious. We enjoyed shrimp provencal, mont D’or cheese, and chocolate mousse. Thankful for an enjoyable evening and wonderful food.

Ive been wanting to try to place for a while now but I was pretty disappointed. Our shrimp appetizer was a little acidic but very tasty. Our entrées looked slapped together and were covered in sauce. My boyfriend ordered the flounder and I ordered the lamb chops but our server brought me veal. I decided to keep it because she said it would take a long time to get what I originally ordered. All I could taste was sauce. It ruined the mashed potatoes and the green beans were very bland. We decided to try the creme brulee, which is my favorite dessert. It was so burnt. Awful! I expected better for how overpriced it was. We will not be back.

The big screen tv was a put off for a menu that appeared to be fine dining. The portions were too big. One could not possibly eat the plateful of potatoes, green beans and flounder. It was all very good but an impossible mess. Great wine list!A few "tweaks" and it would have been a really nice experience!Parking: easy

Should have known better, approaching tables outside, trash on ground, staff outside smoking. We arrived early so had a drink at the bar, decent drink and friendly manager. They moved us to a table when kitchen opened at 5.30, we ordered appetizers and a leek salad to share, they sent out the leek salad first because the appetizers were taking longer. The Chef was sitting with a table in the restaurant, it took 50 minutes to get our appetizers, they were ok not worth the price. By the time we got the over priced entrees I was ready to be finished. Will never go back, ridiculous price, mediocre food, no atmosphere, waiter pleasant, he couldn't control the fact that the chef was sitting in the restaurant. A review said best French Restaurant in South Carolina, what a joke!!

Overpriced wanna be Michelin Star Restaurant in a strip mall.First of all. Your rent is $5000 max you cant charge prices as if you are paying $15.000 per month. This is not JFK airport or vegas. $20 for a glass of wine is to high and insulting . Charge $16 or max $18. If you want a average ticket price of above $100 per person you should change location and offer more exotic ingredients. Get a better water filter. Service was good its not their fault. If you own a restaurant its a hobby and passion. You cant turn a profit by ripping of clients on charging $200 for $12 wine. One star would not be fair because your service people are good

What a hidden gem!!! Wonderful service and meal for our group of six!! Great help choosing wine - even included a mini tasting to help us decide! We tried the new seasonal appetizer as promised on Facebook - the Mont d’Or cheese fondue was amazing!! Excellent suggestions on specials and menu choices. Accommodated sharing with no problems, even modifying the “crab stuffed flounder” special to add on an amazing crab cake (best we’ve ever had!) because we wanted to try both. The warm goat cheese salad and the baked cod with shrimp were also delicious. Plenty of wine, apps and dinners with 20% tip included ended up being about $100/person.

We had not been for a year since we have not gotten to the beach. We returned tonight and it was as good if not better than our last visit. My wife and friends had the Flounder Maison and it was perfect in all aspects with flavor, presentation and food temperature. I had a special of veal. We told it was the Chef's grandmother's family recipe. The veal was very tender with a brown sauce. The surprise was the addition of horseradish into the sauce giving it a lovely flavor in the back of the mouth. Service was attentive.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! I make sure to go every time I visit from Pittsburgh. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere has great vibes, and everyone is so friendly. One of my favorites is their pork chop dinner; best pork chop I’ve ever had in my life! The French onion soup is always a must have and their desserts are fantastic. Thank you Ville Sainte Bistro!
