The food we ordered was pretty good, although there isn't much to choose from as vegetarians I was happy with my order. The atmosphere is casual and reminiscent of a late 70s diner with a crowd of mostly local high school students. The staff was very friendly and proficient. This is not a location I would have thought to choose, but after giving it a try, I'll quite likely go again sometime.Vegetarian options: Although there are very few vegetarian options, the food that we did order was surprisingly good. I recommend the waffles and hashbrowns.

The people that work at this Waffle House are so friendly and I feel like I'm at home every time I go there. They put a little extra love and the food they make.
Food and food service great! Unfortunately an elder gentleman host employee approached while we waited for a table and when he learned we had moved to SC from California, commenced to rant about CA Governor Gavin Newsom. Finally when he said Gov Newsom should be shot and killed I had no alternative than to tell him to shut up as we had brought our grandchildren to WH for a pleasant breakfast and he was interfering with that. I had to get even more vocal before he threw up his hands and left us alone. Another gentleman with his family, also awaiting a table, thanked me and said I had handled the situation diplomatically and in a gentleman manner. I realize the older gentleman host may be suffering from dementia but believe me it certainly distracted from our breakfast out!

Went by very late on a weeknight after an event. The same person that took my order also cooked a majority of it, the cook came back from his break after she was mostly done. There weren't many customers there. The waitress had her SO sitting at the bar, playing some shooter game on his phone quite loudly. I'm glad for her sake that he was there, but she didn't seem to believe it at all inconsiderate for him to be playing that game for all to hear but in fact talk poorly of a lady that asked him to turn it down.

This Waffle House on Long Point Road in Mt.P is hands-down the best run business I have ever seen. We go often, but most recently, on Christmas morning. Yes, they were busy, but you wouldn't have known. Friendly, organized, and fast. KUDOS!
