We were visiting Kelowna for a month and during that time I tried sushi 4 times. To say this place was the best is an understatement. Growing up my dad had several sushi restaurants and as much as I hate to say this.. this is the best Japanese food I’ve ever had, even better than my dads who received the highest rating form the Chicago tribune. (I’m the from the states) every bite was perfect. Its been a long time being to is full and happy!

Hayashi Sushi is my favorite sushi restaurant. The quality and price are unbeatable on the Grand Strand. I really like the size of the rolls too - not too big, but not too small either, and with the price, you can order a variety. The inlet roll and the sweet potato roll are a must order and are my favorites.
Absolutely authentic and amazing Sushi. No idea why this place is take out only as the inside is nice with decent seating. Must be a current staffing issue. Absolutely recommend!

Been here before and the sushi was delicious. Back again for a couple of rolls. Unfortunately they are still not available for dine in. Take out only even though they have tables and a nice sushi bar. The woman told me that they only have two people working there so they can't handle a large number of people. It's unfortunate they don't hire people because they could do a lot more business.Just as well, I'll take my rolls home and open a nice bottle of Chardonnay!! Maybe eat on the deck and watch the ocean. Try this place for takeout if your in the Murrells Inlet area.

Since moving to Murrells Inlet I’ve been searching for a quality sushi place! I tried Hayashi for the first time last night and it will now be my go to place. I ordered the yummy roll, and the fugi mountain roll. Everything is fresh and has wonderful flavor. They do not offer inside dining, but the beach is just a short drive down the road from it.

At this time there is no dininig in. We would have called our order in. The staff was very helpful in getting our order which included a Spider roll, Spicy tuna roll and Shanghai Roll. We didn't wait long for our order. The food was sooo good. Well worth the waitand we will be back. Thank you.

Some of the best sushi I've tasted! Always tastes super fresh, incredibly friendly staff, and quick take-out times. Just wish they had sit-down dining available but regardless, the sushi is delicious!Parking: Plenty of on-site parking.
They only have take out even had to wait outside after placing my order. Gyoza had a weird flavor. The shrimp tempura roll was extremely small. No special sauce for vegetable tempura I made it myself at home.

Always the freshest cuts. Only takeout, but it doesn't even matter. Enjoy at home. I've eaten this sushi multiple times and each time is as consistent if not better than the last. Couldn't recommend enough. I just prefer people not discover this place because wait times can get backed up. (I want it to be all mine!). Seems to be a hardworking family that has figured out how to do sushi better than the rest.
