This was our first time at Hippie Hen House went for the crabcakes because we moved from Maryland to Myrtle Beach, they were delicious just like they say. Would definetly recommend if you want great crabcakes.

We went to the Hippie Hen House for the first time today for brunch. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, We were pleased at how clean it was!! We ordered Bloody Mary's which were well made and tasty. The menu has lots of choices so I had the egg breakfast in the older folks section of the menu and my husband had the crab omelet. OMG!! It was incredible! We both had some and it is the most fresh crab, fresh spinach and tomatoes in the omelet and the Old Bay Hollandaise was the bomb!!Everything was delicious and we were in a food coma. Excellent service by Ryan. Both professional and knowledgeable Ryan added to the ambiance of the meal. We will definitely be back and often!! With so many great restaurants in the Murrells Inlet area we have lots to choose from. Hippie Hen House is at the top with our favorite restaurants. We are local and love having a neighborhood bar and restaurant!!!

My husband & I have just moved to the area & we have been trying out new restaurants. We decided to try them on Thursday night for their burger night. The roasted Brussels sprouts were amazing. We each had a burger which were equally as good. Add to that the all day Happy Hour beer prices made for a great meal at an unbelievable low cost. The service was excellent. We can’t wait to try their other dishes. Would highly recommend the Hippy Hen House.

Went tonight was advised by the waiter that they are know for the crab cakes. So I ordered 2 for and entree for me and my date. Then we decided to split a stuff flounder dinner which came with no sides. When the dish came to the table it was about a 2 ounce piece of fish stuffed with a spoon full of crabmeat. Had some kind of desert in a small mason jar which was pretty good. I guess next time I go I will not order the flounder stuffed with crabmeat. The waiter said on Mondays it's $5 off all crab dishes maybe I will try again.Parking: Parking was ok.

I’m leaving this review a week after eating there because the food was so good and I’m still thinking about the sandwich I ordered. It’s hard to find vegan options sometimes especially when they taste that good! The vegan pulled pork sandwich with old bay fries was awesome we are definitely coming back! And the rib special was perfect!
