Hot fish club always delivers. The food is awesome, the drinks are cold and the service is commendable.

Our first visit..what took us so long! Beautiful views of the inlet. Had a great server. Started with the crab and shrimp crostini. Loved them, would have been better if warm through and through though, but that might not have been the way they were intended to be served. We like bang bank shrimp but were hesitant about the Sriracha sayce being too hot for our taste. Our server graciously provided a sample for our dinner, and we loved it. Not hot at all, great flavor for dipping our shrimpnand oysters. We shared the seafood platter with scallops. Everything was grand. We had all the items fried except the scallops which we chose to have grilled. We are not oyster fans, as raw just isn't appealing to us. We have had fried before on a taco, so we took a chance. These were sooo good, we are a fan, at least from here. Very good PB pie. We'll be back, sooner than later.

I'm assuming the food was good. Did not hear any complaints from the people at our table. I did not order a meal.

This has become our fave spot to dine in South Carolina. During our visit in April we had our whole meal at the bar. The fellas mixing cocktails and pouring drinks for the dining room servers still provided exceptional service to their patrons dining in the lounge. Sushi is awesome, the sampler platter appetizer is fantastic and the grouper with risotto is to die for. We will be back!!

Food selection was phenomenal. We ordered the lobster pasta, the tuna, and the flounder everyone enjoyed their order. The wait staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and fast. Highly recommend ?

My wife enjoyed surf and turf with fried shrimp. I had blackened mahi topped with crab meat. Both meals were excellent. The service was very attentive but not overbearing. Treated nicely by the bartender who made great margaritas.

I have been patronizing this establishment for years as a part time local, but on 4/2/24 the meal was horrible. The place was dirty and wait staff exhibited dangerous lack of sanitation. Ordered calamari for an appetizer and it was some kind of cheap fish cut into strips and fried, tables and chairs were so dirty, rest of meal had zero flavor and was either under or over cooked. Very disappointing.

Hot Fish Club (founded 1792 ~232 years of doing business) justly earns its high rating. It is popular as evidenced by the busy parking lot. We were quickly ushered to a table. Service was a touch slow to start but then became fast and efficient. Alex our server was great. We thought we would do something different from the usual Salmon and Mahi Mahi and went for the Sea Bass and Red Snapper, kicking the meal off with the beet salad. OMG, all were fantastic. The beet salad was large enough for two and outstanding. The Sea Bass was super buttery flavored, literally melt in your mouth with outstanding golden crispiness on the outside, probaby the best tasting fish that I've ever had. However, the portion size was a bit small so my wife shared from her generously-sized red snapper. Both fish were served on a bed of Risotto with asparagus, and a few red pepper slices and greens. Beautifully done. Meal ran ~$45 each plus tip, but if you drink anything other than water or do dessert, expect the tab to jump accordingly. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: They have an excellent list of food intolerances for each of their menu items and can easily make most meals gluten free, a necessity for my wife.

Hot Fish Club was a major disappointment for me. I had been told the food here was good and did not expect it to be so rubbery, dry, greasy, and flavourless; especially for the price. The staff seemed wholly uninterested in serving and at times would hand me plates to hand to the rest of the table. They would disappear for long durations of time and acted incredibly cold and stand-offish. One server walked away from our table as we called him asking him for something. The Fried Calamari was flavorless and rubbery served with a side of, as far as I can tell, red water. The Blue Crab Dip was swimming in its grease and was, again, practically flavorless tasting more like licking a slice of Little Caesars than supposed "Fresh Seafood".My blackened Mahi was decent but, for the price it just seemed obscene. It was mostly grits and that's hardly justification for a $30 price tag. For the rest of our table the food was over salted, cold, or improperly heated.Wheelchair accessibility: Poor wheel chair accessibility there's lots of steps
