It's like the Alamo it's the last stand for value and quality I got two pieces of meatloaf and two pieces of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans for 10 dollars. They have a good staff who is friendly.
It was Easter so we knew we would have a long wait...an hour. The food looked really tasty, but some items didn't have any seasoning. The pork chops looked so pretty, but they tasted bland. The collards had no seasoning, but they were cooked just right. The best things I ate were the peanut butter cookies and the pineapple cobbler...omg...the pineapple cobbler! In all fairness, it was Easter and they had a huge crowd. We plan on visiting again on a day that's less busy.

Food was OK. Basic foods, pulled pork, fried chicken, baked chicken, salad bar, rolls, mac n cheese,fried shrimp, fried flounder, etc... had flavor but not like Wow flavors. The theme is mid 90s decor but the prices are also mid 90s prices. Which is great. Mid afternoon, good crowd, mostly older locals. If you are hungry and just need to fill up with food, this is perfect. If you are looking for wow, not gonna find it here.
