A 5 star waitress and 3 other hard workers are all that is holding this operation together, when they were at full capacity around 11:30 this morning. It was slow to get tables bused, slow to get the food, and the culprit seemed to be one employee, I’m guessing the manager (pictured below) who just stood and watched the staff as if he were evaluating them with a clipboard in hand. In the entire time, he broke his gaze once, getting drinks to help out, while the rest of the staff busted their collective butts trying to juggle their responsibilities. I felt sorry for them.I would ordinarily never go to a waffle house, but they make one great grilled steak and bacon sandwich, which is occasionally worth going there for. I won’t be going back. I hope the manager reads this and understands that at rush-hour it should be all hands on deck, to get his hands dirty. For those of us who don’t wanna wait, it makes all the difference there are just way too many other options down here.

Bryanna warmly greeted us and made us feel at home. We ordered a variety All star special, bacon Angus deluxe plate, pecan waffles, bacon egg cheese bowl, everything was fresh to order, made quickly and all made with love . Thank you.Kid-friendliness: Great price for kids plate
On Christmas Eve, not a lot of places are open and the wait is very long everywhere so WH became our post church choice. I'm old but it's my first time at WH and we had 2 cheeseburgers (ok, nothing special), hashbrowns (excellent!!), and iced tea (good). It's a busy and understaffed place when we arrive but they forewarn us that there'll be a probable half hour wait till they can get to us. Not great news but better than Mickie D or a long wait. Great attitude in the 2 people working there then. About a half hour later we order and get food quickly. Minutes later the next shift starts arriving early and everything catches up quickly. When no one else is open, they are.

Bev and I were at the hospital until late into the night. When we left we were very hungry. We pulled into the Murrells inlet Waffle House. Taylor and Thomas both greeted us warmly. We took our seats and Taylor came over to take our order. The coffee was just what I needed. Bev enjoyed her orange juice. The place was busy for that time of night with two other couples, a gentleman, and a young lady . I looked around and this restaurant was kept very clean. The food came quickly and my eggs were perfectly cooked. Bev enjoyed her waffle with extra butter and syrup. Thomas and Taylor work very well together. They are both professional and friendly. The service was excellent. It was late at night when we left the restaurant. Taylor made us feel extra safe while watching us to our car after we paid the bill. He went above and beyond expectations. If you are looking for a late night breakfast ....pop into here. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy your meal. Ms. Beverly and Ms. Willie.

The only problem we had was that one of the guys that was working the grill was smoking outside and went straight back in and started cooking food without washing their hands!Wheelchair accessibility: They did have it where I could get out my van and drive my wheelchair up the ramp and into the restaurant
Eggs undercooked, bacon undercooked, grits had big lumps, no real butter, mostly a breakfast place and they don't have real butter! Seriously?! ? Staff spent the whole time complaining loudly to each other about other employees and how many hours they have to work, really terrible experience. Won't be going there anymore ?
