We weren’t sure what to expect with this hotel as it was booked for a baseball tournament and not at the oceanfront. The service was very pleasant at the front desk. We had no issues in the room other than we had room service once in 4 days and oddly they made only one of 2 beds. They did replace all the towels 2 days. Rooms were clean and cool but the hallways kept warmer. We had a fridge and microwave. It was on the smaller side- no couch or anything. Just a chair/desk. One of the 2 elevators was broken for 2 of the days but we were luckily on the second floor so we took the stairs most days anyway. There is a restaurant right next door but we did not go there. The hotel bar service and food was good for bar food and fairly priced. The pool was clean and the pool deck area with plenty of seating. Free coffee tea and hot chocolate 24 hours. We did have the breakfast 2 days which had pretty much anything and one of the staff even offered to make something separate for my son with food allergies which he did not need to do but offering was above and beyond expected service. The hotel was a close drive to grocery stores and not too far to the baseball fields as well as boardwalk at the beach and the water park. Would definitely stay again if needed to for business or baseball.

When we were arriving, we noticed that the area around the hotel wasn't the best looking. It is next to an expired mall and a bar, but it is on the river. However, the lobby was nice and large. There were table games set up like Connect Four and there were seats throughout. There is also a nice bar that we did not try, but might in the future. The room was clean and updated. The shower was nice and hot, and the toiletries were supplied in the stall. Pluses: - Updated rooms - Hot shower - Clean rooms - Lovely smelling soaps (I wish I could remember what the brand name was) - Great storage areas - Cool barn door on the bathroom - Can take the highway to all major attractions and shopping areas Negatives: - Sketchy outside environment - Not near the beach We found this stay to be satisfactory and comfortable.

I wish every hotel was as awesome as this place! Beautiful, clean, and the hotel has an intoxicating spa like smell. The beds and pillows were great! I want those pillows!! You can't go wrong here. Almost forgot, they have an awesome free breakfast.

Four Points Myrtle Beach is slightly off the beaten path, but not far from all the attractions, beaches and restaurants in Myrtle Beach. Staff is superb. David, the general manager, always seems to be around and is extremely welcoming and helpful. The Brine Bar serves after 5 PM and has a nice menu. Breakfast is an extensive buffet, constantly attended by the staff. Food is very good, fresh and well prepared. Rooms are spacious and those overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway have great views. Lobby is very large with lots of seating and huge windows with nice views of the water. Hotel is well maintained and modern. Pool sarea has lots of seating. We will definitely return.

Been staying here since it was new, but there needs to be some maintenance done on this location as things are starting to go south. Wallpaper peeling, mold in the bathrooms, in-room fridge not working, balconies are filthy, floor in the room was dirty and the room smelled really musty. On top of tall this, the elevators are super dirty and slower than they've ever been.

Great place to stay not too far from the beach. Nice indoor outdoor pool situated on the intercoastal waterway. There is a Great bar/ restaurant next door which is casual has great food. Large lobby with a big bar which is nice free breakfast in the morning.

The Hotel is located on intercostal waterways. The lobby is gorgeous with modern furnishing. Rooms are very nice and beautifully decorated. I had upgraded to water view and absolutely loved it. It is refreshing to hang out in a balcony overlooking intercoastal water ways. I did not use the pool area about the huge pool deck over the waterways looks perfect for summer evenings. I’ll be making plans to stay at this hotel over summer again.

Stayed here a couple of times in Nov/Dec of 2022 and this is still a solid Four Points location. The hotel is generally clean enough and the staff is always friendly. The dining here is very decent. The breakfast buffet, which was included for me based on Titanium status with Marriott was great with a number of hot and cold options. One thing I did like is that they do keep the coffee refreshed most of the day. I was able to get fresh coffee as late as 4 in the afternoon in the lobby instead of trying fiddle with the in-room coffeemaker. The evening options for dinner were actually quite good for a limited-service hotel and the bartender was super frinedly.

I was impressed from the moment that I was greeted by Amos at the front desk. The staff are friendly yet professional and the buffet breakfast is delicious! Perfectly cooked grits and Reggie makes a delicious cooked to order omelette. The rooms are spacious and the view of the river adds a beautiful touch. I stayed in October and November and each visit was exceptional!

I booked this hotel for 1 night & received a confirmation. Upon arrival the girl at the desk could not find my reservation. I had it in my phone and she kept taking it right out of my hand to look at it not uttering a word. After 20 minutes and no results she reluctantly said she’d “give us another room”. This hotel happens to be a Marriott property. We are both Marriott credit card holders and vacation club owners. The room we were given was not what I had booked. I always request extra pillows and towels….neither of which this room had. Plus it was filthy. Whoever cleans just sweeps around and leaves the dirt under and behind the furniture. The breakfast buffet is outrageous at about $15 pp so we passed. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Plus it’s not in the best area and the hotel was full of students from Coastal Carolina College. They were running a shuttle bus for them and they were loud in the halls all night.

The lobby is bright and cheerful, everyone I met was friendly, and the room was comfortable. Lighing was good in the room and there are plenty of ports to charge electronics. Overall, I'd definitely recommend.

This is a 3.5 hotel - it was clean and comfortable - room temperature was good - it’s a little loud and I was disappointed I couldn’t use my Marriott points to get a river front room. Coffee pot is in the closet and there is no microwave but there is a small fridge. Room really needs a comfortable chair (there is a desk chair) for relaxing. Check in staff was nice.

We have stayed here for many years, sometimes not so good and other times okay. This year was different after the renovations. The lobby, pool area, rooms and even the hallways were well kept, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The general manager, David was always willing to assist and help out if needed. Our room was comfortable and the balcony a plus!

The ride towards this hotel was a bit scary. However, once close, the vibe changed. This was a really beautiful hotel. However, they are seriously lacking when it comes to guest confidentiality and security. As I was waiting to check in, I saw a college age boy come in (Kid A). He simply walked up to the desk, told her his friend’s name (Kid B) and asked if he could check in/get the key as they were all staying together and Kid B had prepaid for the room. Instead of in any way verifying Kid A’s identity via a government issued ID and contacting the person on the reservation (Kid B) to verify that that was OK/that they knew this kid, she simply took a credit card for the $50 incidental deposit (not even verifying that Kid A was the person on the credit card) and gave this unknown kid the other kid’s room key. When it was my turn, though I did it in a light-hearted way, I brought it up. I asked how she knew that Kid A wasn’t some secret psycho that saw Kid B’s social media page, knew Kid B was going to be staying there that night and used that information to get into Kid’s B room without permission? I mean she literally just gave some random kid another person’s room key – a room that they hadn’t even paid for and that they weren’t on the reservation for. How did she know that the Kid A wasn’t going to be waiting in the room to kill or otherwise harm Kid B? She laughed at the way it was presented but was “confident in her ability to instinctively know” he was telling the truth and that what she did was OK. Per the receptionist, she “has a sense for people". Besides, he “gave the correct name” on the reservation and she has Kid A’s “credit card information”. I also pointed out that as she hadn’t even asked for an ID from Kid A, she had no idea who Kid A really was. And, as she hadn’t seen his ID, how did she know that Kid A wasn’t using a stolen credit card or a prepaid card? She kind of laughed and asked where would I get such an idea? I laughed and said Investigation Discovery…and the fact that I live in the 4th largest city in America. I’m paranoid about everything. I also wasn’t asked for ID or a credit card either. All I had was a slip of paper from the other hotel (that had referred me there due to an issue with my room) – a piece of paper someone could have dropped and I easily could have picked up and used. Inside of my room, I found that they did not have the additional security lock that most hotels have. You know the chain or C lock near the top of the door. Other than that, the room was perfect. It was nice and clean and quiet. Bonus: If you go towards the harbor at the right time, you will see a pirate ship docked there. 5 stars for the hotel, 1 star for security. Average 2.5 stars.

A great place to stay! We loved the convenience of the Boathouse bar next door within walking distance. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good and had plenty of variety for a buffet style breakfast. The manager of the hotel made us feel valued and did a great job.
