Apparently this place has changed hands. The food isn't bad but not as good as it was under the previous owners... Not sure what happened but it doesn't taste the same.. also they are giving out slightly less chicken with the chicken Pad Thai.... So that's really why I rated them a 3. But if you're own vacation here you'll never know because you've never been there before....Also they I'm assuming you have to ask for a cup of peanuts with your Pad Thai. I don't know if it's an extra charge now but they use to give you one with every order... If you're going to pay for extra condiments wait until you see what comes with your initial order and then pay for extra... Because I feel as though they are a little light handed on the extra condiments you paid for as opposed to what they were going to give you for free, if that makes sense.... Idk.. Just a thought... Dang I totally forgot I reviewed this place back in July of 23... I definitely stand on my initial assessment! It's not the same but it's ok I guess.3/15/24I'm going to be honest I really dislike this new place.. they're just not as friendly or as helpful as the previous owners and staff... The pad Thai isn't that good.. This place is just close to my job. I have to find another place..

I have been going here for years and it is now under new management. food is not as good. VERY spicy and if you ask for mild it makes no difference. You get it burn your lips and throat spicy. This is the third time it has happened to me. Time to find a new place.

Food is good, but not extraordinary. We ordered basil fried rice with chicken and Tom yum soup for dinner. Reasonable price.

Small dining area and we were the only party there. One unisex bathroom. Food was great, although I would have expected more shrimp in the appetizer for the price and a thicker panang curry. The dessert was lovely. Would return.Vegetarian options: Most menu options can be chosen as vegetable or tofuParking: Limited number of parking spots off the street

Food here is great. Really thankful to have this Asian food place, serving authentic Asian food within walking distance of our resort. Thank you for being open off season! That said, the mango curry with chicken is a must try here. The sourness of the mangoes goes perfectly with the spiciness of the dish.

We had beef green curry takeout and the food was amazing. It came out super fast and service was friendly and speedy. They also have lunch specials M-F dine in only so make sure to check the menu out. Good all-black interior that makes other colors pop. Had a good time with good food at BKH

Ok, so I am very particular about Thai food. I saw they had some good reviews and decided to try them with my wife. We opted for take out. Looking over the menu, they have a great selection and broken up into categories so it's easy to find your favorites, the first flag was the prices!! Very pricey and don't think you will come for lunch for a discount because that's a no no! We ordered crab rangoons(6) per order, chicken spring rolls(4) per order, chicken larb kai salad and a side of sticky rice. Also a Thai tea to split. My wife can't do too spicy, so we ordered our larb no stars and asked please make it mild. The hostess was very nice, very professional absolutely no complaints about her or her service, top notch, 5 stars for her alone. However, total for the meal was $44.79 and I gave her a $10 tip. It was a good thing I didn't order any of the extras we wanted. When we got the food home I couldn't believe my eyes. The crab rangoons were one dimensional. Flattened with a little crinkle on the top, nothing really inside. They looked like 6 cartoon money bags set in front of each other with a sauce container that was twice the size of them in a hamburger Styrofoam container. They were fried solid and couldn't be eaten they were so hard. Next, the spring rolls. These were actually great, no complaints on these as all 4 were as they should be. Crispy outside, veggies and chicken inside were perfect. Best part of the meal. No for the chicken larb salad. For the price I paid you would have thought you'd get a large. This was a kids container, almost $18 for a salad with ground chicken that had only enough to fit into a small bowl. It was cooked well and tasted okay until the first bite revealed it was like eating lava from a volcano. No star here will kick your butt. My poor wife couldn't eat it, not to mention it was only snack size for us anyways. To top it all off there were no cucumbers, tomatoes, lemongrass so overall disappointing. I have photos to share so y'all can see the proof. Looking at photos from other customers it looks like in house customers get the deals and bigger dishes. The Tea was mediocre at best, just concentrated and mixed with milk before serving over ice. I'd like to try the pad Thai and pineapple rice, but at $19 for that amount I wouldn't take the gamble. I hate leaving reviews like this, and want everyone to know that the service was great, but the price and quality of food and quantity just doesn't add up.

First time and first impression was, where are all the people at that are parked outside? We were the second guest during dinner time and the parking area was full?? So the probes are very small and not authentic or tasty. Place needs to be updated and carpet looks rough. Fixing their plating, seasoning and portion’s as well as aesthetics I may try them again. Fried rice was good.

We eat at a lot of Thai restaurants back home in Durham, NC, and the food at Bangkok House tops them all. We had the blanket shrimp, the crispy tofu and my husband had a small bowl of Tom Yum soup. All were perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. The Tom Yum was the best he has ever had--and he has eaten a great many versions. The heat level was just right and the blend of flavors was incredible. Our meal was a bit pricey overall but worth it for the quality of the ingredients--We can always go during the week and take advantage of the lunch special. The recent renovation has added charcoal gray walls with bright gold accents. Very attractive.

So I’ll start off by saying, we was down in august of 2022 and ate here. The food was incredible and really enjoyed it. Fast forward to December 2023 we’re back at Myrtle beach and wanting to eat here again. We call an order in at 5:00. The girl tells me it will be ready in 20 minutes. I get there and wait 1 hour for my food. I really didn’t even care about the wait, but when we get back to the room to eat our food it is definitely not what I had expected it to be. The chicken wings were decent, the papaya salad was not good at all, and the beef larb was so sweet! Everything about all the food had a very sweet flavor. I asked for 2 sticky rice and 1 regular rice. They gave me 1 sticky rice and 3 REGULAR rice. I have no idea why. I heard it’s under new ownership, do not waste your time here. $78 wasted.
