Wow, what a great place to grab a bite to eat. We first hung out at the bar and had a few of the local beers. Then we grabbed a table for the meal. The menu has lots of choices. They have a bit of everything. I had the brisket platter. It was melt in your mouth amazing. I tried the catfish, and it was very good, too.Service was amazing. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious! Fried green tomatoes and fried catfish. Slaw was really good too! My husband had fried oysters and hush puppies and sweet potato fries and loved it as well. Very chill vibe here.

We ate here after a day of baseball, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. The brisket grilled cheese was so tender and juicy. Service was fantastic and friendly. We will definitely be back if we come again next year!

Been here a couple times now. Everything we have had is good. The pulled pork with street corn was delicious. The beat salad with Mahi was filling and delicious. My son loved the grouper kids meal. They are very attentive and the happy hour is decent as well. They have outside seating and cool decor with a bar. The tv's at the bar would be great to watch games or sports. Thank you for the great service and food. We enjoyed drawing on the paper table lol ?

This is the slowest damn restaurant I've been to, ever! It was less than half full and took 30 mins to seat and another 30 minutes to receive appetizers. We won't even talk about the main course time frame. If you want to eat by 6, be here by 3! Ridiculous for this restaurant to still be in business.

We are locals, stopped by for dinner. With our dinners we order (upgraded to street corn) when our food came out, the street corn didnt look anything like used too small and almost no toppings, also only one came out. Our server said it would be about 2 minutes, about 15 minutes later a cooked came out to say it would be about 10 more minutes. About 15 minutes later we flagged down our server to change to the awaited corn to mac n cheese as we were almost finished at this point. Ten minutes later out came the mac n cheese. Our server said she let the manager know what happened. As we were finishing up the manager came to our table to apologize and say she would give us a 20% discount, we are locals and already get 10% also one street corn was never received the other one was cold and only 1/3 eaten as we said it wasnt good. The corn wasnt taken off the bill, an upgrade we were charged for. I had chicken, slaw, and ended up receiving mac n cheese at the end of our meal, no other sides, my husband had rice and corn an upgrade that he didnt eat with the all you can eat catfish, that he was never offered more if he desired. So really we received no extra discount and thats fine but paid for product that was bad, cold or never received. Dont really care about the discount, I just wanted to go out, enjoy dinner and was looking forward to the really awesome street corn we used to get. It used to have the husks on and was loaded with goodness and you could tell that it had been grilled, not boiled with barely sprinkled cheese. Sorry, just not up to par this time, just dissappointed for our weekly dine out that we look forward too.

Went there for the ribs. They were basically burnt. So dry. And they don't have their own BBQ sauce, I ended up putting Sweet Baby Rays on it. Mac n cheese was dry. They have like 7 different sauce bottles on the table and NONE are labeled. And they don't tell you what they are, you have to ask. And none of them were ketchup. We didn't get the proper utensils for what we ordered so we had to ask for them. Had to ask for wet wipes in the end, didn't just offer them. Overall mediocre food, less than great service. If you want really great BBQ, go to gracious pig in Surfside.

Bubba's was highly recommended, and perhaps if we had stuck with the delicious sounding fish entrées, we would have had a better dining experience. The smell of the wood smoked ribs was intoxicating, and we chose that as our entrée. Bad choice. The "baby back" ribs were tough and barely edible. And hardly "baby back." More like St Louis style. The extra array of sauces at the table were disappointingly watery. Our server was great. Very helpful and attentive. Next time, we'll try the fish.
