It was alright. Definitely not terrible the tacos were just eh. I liked the array of salsas.

I’ve been going to Chubby’s for awhile now but I always get the same thing. I changed it up today and got a couple tacos. It’s very sad to see that their idea of a taco is two corn tortillas warmed up in the microwave… very disappointed. Will not order tacos from them again

So I walk in, no customers are in the store and the girl behind the counter is putting lids on rows of cups of salsa. She has them half done. Probably about 20 left to go. She looks up, says hello and proceeds to continue slowly putting the lids on the rows of cups. I wait a moment... and walked out. They can shove the movie poster on the wall with "Gringo" in the title where the sun don't shine as well.

Got a carne asada, a chicken and a shrimp taco. Each taco is about 3 bites. Nearly $15 for these 3 tacos, which is quite a bit overpriced in my opinion. And it's not as if these were big overflowing tacos. The carne asada was the best tasting of the 3. Good selection of salsa, friendly staff and a good vibe in the restaurant. I would probably try something other than the tacos next time.

Wow… this place was a surprise! Very fun and inviting. We found really pleasing service paired with good food. Many options in tastes: chicken, pork, beef, Barbacoa, and all the typical sides… Pricing was great!

Upon recommendation I got (2) Carne asada corn tacos with L, T, Sour cream & side of guacamole (which was in a tiny sauce-like plastic container). Unfortunately, the steak was so tough I couldn't eat it and the guacamole & rice had no flavor. Taco Bell is better! A waste of $20 ($16 + $4 tip). A woman sitting next to me was also there for the first time and did say the carnita/pork Taco was very good.

I placed a takeout order last night. I picked it up at 7pm and they close at 830. I was surprised how quickly they had the food done. We ordered about $50 worth of food and it was done in 15 minutes. Overall the food was ok. All the meats seemed reheated and dried out. The chicken in the burrito and fajitas was so over cooked it was like eating leather. The chorizo was very dried out. I would give this place one more chance and maybe come earlier hoping the meats won't be dried out next time
So this is one of the best most authentic Mexican spots that I have been to. And that's a huge shout out to you guys because I'm a California Girl. Tacos there are a way of life! The food was very authentic the service was absolutely top-notch Chelsea is phenomenal way to go girl I would encourage everyone to go here it's just that awesome!

Sort of between Taco Bell and a Mexican restaurant. Good food, service was friendly. I expected to get a plate with my beans, rice, lettuce, & tomatoes on it for my beef burrito , but it was rolled up in the tortilla! Genius!! This burrito was huge! I didn't think I could eat it all, but I couldn't stop. Extensive menu and salsa's for your food. Reminded me of Rosarito beach in Mexico! Only downside is Pepsi products, but hey, they have Mexican drinks as well. Recommend over Taco Bell any day!
