Local joint serving awesome Jamaican cuisine. I had the oxtails with peas and rice with steamed cabbage and it was by far the best I have had. Chef and counter person were great and made sure I enjoyed everything. They even had Ting which although expensive, made me feel like I was back in Mo Bay.

Jamaican place is locally owned and operated. The food is consistently good here. We've eaten here multiple times. Love the beef patties.

A beautiful Jamaican restaurant, the dishes are rich and delicious. I had chicken and Oxtail with the famous Jamaican rice and peas. The gravy made it finger leaking.

Food was tasty, once they improve on customer service and atmosphere they'll get better, I loved how the food was not crazy with salt, I had left over and it was still great when reheated so that's a plus.

Ordered the curried goat and French fried chicken. Very good. A little hole in the wall kind of joint. Authentic Jamaican food, as good as being on the island itself.

Got oxtail from here and let me tell you it was the worst I've ever taste in my whole life and the price was alot, on top of that when I got my food there is just 4 piece of oxtail with no meat pure fat an bones also 2 pieces of the oxtail was the size of a premature baby fist and the other 2 was the size of a grape. No matter how hungry I get I will never eat here again.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Jamaican food. We found this restaurant while on vacation. The food was delicious and portions were a good size. No complaints at all

We've given this restaurant our business multiple times over the years when we come to Myrtle Beach. The service has always been so so but today it was horrendous. The man who said he is the chef was surly and unfriendly from the moment we walked in. We asked about getting their fried dumplings and were told though they were on the posted menu that they did not make them ( because they are a breakfast item) until next month. When we asked if there was any way they could make them as the owner made them last time for us he angrily told us to go to the other Jamaican restaurant to ask them instead. We ended up just ordering $100 of food- one item was escoveitch fish- and since that takes 30 minutes asked one more time if he could also make the fried dumplings and was refused again. When our food was ready my daughter said something to me not in any way related to him or the restaurant and he nastily told her she needs to learn to read and pointed to the laminated menu on the counter top. At that point he an I exchanged a lot of words. He called me names multiple times and was cursing me out in front of other customers. We clearly won't be returning and will stop recommending the restaurant as we'd done so many times. Some serious customer service training needs to be done. Also the oxtails were complete trash this time so even if that situation hadn't occurred we likely wouldn't have returned.

That food was tasty and delicious. Perfect sodium amount and fresh out of the fire.

Got red brown stewed red snapper. It was bland the rice and peas were very soggy and there was a baby spoon of cabbage. We had been there some years ago and an elder Jamaican women was cooking the food was great. When entering, the teen age representative was on the phone, and we actually waited until he finished his call before he waited on . I could live with the poor customer service but not the poor quality of food. Bring back Mama Jamaica!
