My Hubbie and I stopped for lunch today at this location near Carolina Forest. The staff was so friendly, and the food was hot, and delicious!!! DQ has the best ice cream. I have been a fan since I was a little girl in CA where my local DQ was on my way home walking from school. The Manager would give me a free courtesy cone. I still remember that so many years later!
Just had a ice cream dessert here in my visit. Got a small blizzard royal cheesecake my standard. Was as good as any I've had. Price is kind of high but same as all dairy Queens. It was late and I did wait a minute or so before anybody came to the front counter ladies behind in the kitchen should have probably said somebody will be right with you but instead they just looked at me. You are charged for each individual item if you try to substitute any ice cream/shake for a drink in your combo. Used to be just an up-charge, or pay the difference. But our $30 meal came up to be over $50. Needless to say we voided that order.
