Took a road trip to Damon's for a birthday lunch. As always with Damon's, the ribs are the best!!! We are fortunate to live within 2 hours and it was well worth the trip. Good time and great food was had by all!!!

My husband and I took my daughter here this afternoon to celebrate her birthday. I asked the attendant that seated us if they could do something to acknowledge her birthday with a cupcake or something..I told her I would even pay extra if necessary, just to surprise my daughter. She said OK, they would take care of it.The whole meal came and went, with no mention whatsoever of any 'suprise.' Ordinarily this wouldn't have been a big deal, but this was my daughter's birthday, and she picked this place out of the MANY other places we COULD have eaten.Let me say, our sever Sarah was great, the food was OK, but the birthday mishap aforementioned has left a sour taste in my mouth. I don't know if there was a miscommunication or what, but I don't know how I could have been more clear. Disappointed, I won't recommend this place and I won't be back.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator

Absolutely love the view, the service was alright but the food...we stopped here because we used to love the ribs. The ribs were ok, a good amount of meat but only one choice of BBQ sauce, they were good but nothing spectacular. Have had much better elsewhere. The dressing on the salad was mostly water and the onion loaf was absolutely disgusting and inedible, took about 2 bites and told the waitress but was still charged for it. Don't really recommend, you can get MUCH better food elsewhere.

Good food and nice staff, as a tourist it's exactly what I wanted for a nice dinner with family. Our table was dirty and some dishes wet, but it was a busy night and the staff was very apologetic and fixed it when mentioned. Should I ever come back to SC I'd 100% eat again!

Love this..my hubby's birthday was last night..such a treat!I believe our waiter's name was Courtney..if my memory is correct. He was great!
Damon's is a bar and restaurant chain that specializes in prime rib, steak, and their award winning ribs. This oceanfront location has indoor and outdoor seating.I wasn't impressed with this place the first time I was here, but my family loves the oceanfront view so I decided to give them another chance. My experience this time around was much better.All the food was enjoyable and our server Merrill was great. He was friendly, respectful, and accommodating. He was also able to take an order from a party of six without writing anything down. Service was not so great. Server only checked on us once. The onion blossom was greasy. The cornbread muffins were dry. I asked for my prime rib well done. It came back red. I sent it back, it came back still not cooked all the way through. My side was the homemade potatoes. They were dry too, with no flavor. The view was very nice, it was the best part of the meal.

We had a 45 minute wait on a Saturday evening and it was difficult to get a drink at the bar, but there were 4bar tenders and they were amazingly efficient. The 45 minute wait was great as we sat on the deck with a couple of drinks and socialized. When we were seated Sarah, our server was amazing. She was so efficient and fun. We joked with her and had a great time.Now from what she said it was a never seen situation but they ran out of prime rib. Three of us ordered the ribeye and it was out of this world. One ordered the ribs and she couldn’t stop raving about them.We are going back tomorrow to try the prime rib!! Sarah was amazing and the food incredible!
