We have eaten at Socastee Station many times and their chicken bog appetizers are amazing . The service is very good. The staff is kind and friendly . We will return. I'm writing this review and only giving four stars to let people know not to order the Pittsburgh grilled steak salad, unless you like fatty beef. The beef was terrible. Almost every piece was full of gristle and fat. Truly disappointing and for the price of this salad I would have expected a better quality of beef....read full review
We were looking for a place to grab dinner before checking into our vacation rental, and we took a chance on Socastee Station based on the menu and pictures posted on Yelp. Man! We were certainly glad we did. My husband had the French onion soup and steak with fries, I had the Saturday special - ribs, fries, & coleslaw. My husband and I have started wintering in Florida and made a stop at Myrtle Beach for a month. This is the best meal we had since we left home. We both had the fish fry and the cauliflower as an appetizer. The cauliflower was fresh and fried. It was delicious. The fish fry was absolutely amazing. This will be our go to spot while in Myrtle Beach. Our server was on point and was absolutely amazing also.
