Quick story, I stayed a short stay in Charlotte North Carolina last year, everyday I would stop and buy chicken tamales from a lady that sold them on a corner. Since coming home I've been on a search for tamales in myrtle beach that matched the authenticity and flavor that I had in Charlotte, absolutely no luck UNTIL I CAME HERE!!! PUPUSARIA MARISOL !!! They have the greatest tamales on the grand strand and that's a fact !!! I strongly recommend... they don't seem very great with English and that's THE ONLY downside !! Very happy with price and quality !!

service is good just slow paced. Either too much orders they can handle or under staffed.

Definitely some great Salvadoran food as everything was tasty and fresh. Few issues was we found a piece of hair in the stew and the slaw for the pupusa was just abit too sweet for my liking. We came in and ordered takeout which took over 30 mins so I would recommend calling in so don’t have to wait long time. Otherwise, great food and nice clean atmosphere.

I loooove pupusas! My husband found this place and I was so excited to try it. The food is absolutely out of this world! I am beyond happy!! I'll be coming back again and again forever! The bean and cheese pupusa was my favorite and their cabbage slaw was a perfect addition for a nice crunch! 5 stars all the way!

Excellent food. Had a chicken taco, beef tacos and the chicken pupusas. All of it was great, reasonably priced. Nice cashier. Will be back.

this has got to be the worst hispanic restaurant in the whole horry county waited 50 minutes FOR 3 tacos i usally get this all the time at other ones and they take at most 15 minutes. The food wasnt that great the atmosphere was horrible. We asked for some chips and salsa after waiting 50 minutes for our food and the lady laughed and said she didnt understand english after she had just taken our order and understanding us fine. please spend your money at literally anywhere else.

For Pupusas, go to Pupuseria Marisol. Tastes similar as those in Salvador.

By far one of the best pupuserias that our family has been to. Keep in mind that we have been to quite a few. The food was fantastic! Our family ordered cheese, chorizo and pork pupusas and they did not disappoint. We also had their yuca and chicharron platter and it was the best one we’ve had! The only reason we’re giving it a 4 star is because of the lack of hospitality. We tried to make conversation since we are not locals but the waitress simply did not care for it. Friendliness goes a long way and if their service could go up a notch it would be 5 star for sure.

I give them a 3, not because of the food. The food was very good. Came out really hot, which is a good thing for me and my family. It was our first time there. It's a very busy environment. Gets full quick. Wish place could bigger. There wasn't a place to sit. My family and I found a spot to sit in but separately. So, unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy our food as a family ?

LIGHTHAMMER LETS GET IT!!

I really enjoy pupusas very much, and this place offers some of the best I have ever had. I sat in, and they were served with a side of cabbage, and it was so fresh, hot, and delicious. They also have Horchata. and Tamarind juice whuch was very good. Prices were reasonable. Not a lot of parking in the front but plenty on the side and back.Parking: Parking is plentiful in a lot, but in front of the establishment, only about 3 spots.
