Service was fantastic for our large party. The food was not good. No taste to it. I was shocked to learn this after being told by so many friends that MaggieDs is so good.

Read this before you go. Food was adequate for a family Italian place (if it is). Waitress was kind but service was way too slow. Had to ask for the bread I was promised when I ordered. But here's the kicker: I had the same experience. the apparent owner sat at the bar drinking, cussing, and barking at all the wait staff at the top of his lungs. Felt like eating at a fraternity house. Won't be back.

Dined at Maggi D's tonight and I was blown away! I failed to take any photos (so sorry) but had unbelievable food and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. My group ordered bacon wrapped scallops, muscles, red snapper (one of the specials), grouper picata and salmon. All meals were excellent. I also saw neighboring tables enjoy tonight's T-Bone steak special and many other creative dishes. Great portions and simply delicious. We had homemade cannoli and limoncello mascerpone cake for dessert. Owner John, manager Cynthia, and staff could not have been more welcoming. Super warm and friendly atmosphere. I'm not a local, but I wish I was so I could come here more often. I will make it a stop on every trip. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!

I have never given a bad review, but this one needs mentioning. I ordered the Chicken BLT salad, it was terrible. The lettuce was wilted, the tomatoes were mushy and I still really don't know if that was chicken on the salad. I could not eat my meal. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi, first of all, his order arrived wrong, the waitress had to take it back and the correct meal had to be prepared. I tasted his meal, the shrimp was really overcooked and the sauce was watered down with zero flavor. Our guest ordered the lasagna, because we were told it's one of the favorite dishes. The bottom layer of noodle was a dark and rubber, was not pleasing to look at. But on a positive note: the calamari and fried green beans were ok. Our waitress was great..kudos to her. Not sure if this was an off day, but we wont be back and will not recommend.
