There really wasn't anything that stood out one way or the other with this visit. Service was not bad... was not great. I say it was average, which is fine by me when I'm in a *bar* environment. Unsure if it was shift change or what, but the checks seemed to have been presented pretty fast...But the one thing I have always heard is how great the wings were here.... they are average. Nothing more- nothing less. Average . They are definitely not *stand out* wings as I've always been led to believe. The sauce I chose and the *spicy ranch* was the thing that really stands out in my mind .... I choose jalapeno BBQ ... and while tasty, I didn't expect to have diced jalapenos with bbq sauce... not that it was bad, mind you...I just expected jalapeno/habanero powder/seasoning to have been infused into the BBQ sauce for the flavor .. that was interesting...Even on the NON SMOKING side... the scent is heavy... so if you're offended by the smell... I'd advise this as a HARD PASS. If the cigarette doesn't smell doesnt bother you... then this part is irrelevant.
Stopped in to watch a game. The tvs are ok but they have casual music playing while the games are on. Also they apparently still allow cigarette smoking because that is all i could smell. The Wings were good but had to leave because of the cigarette smell, I thought I walked back into the 1980s.

Magoo's is one of our favorite spots for dinner. Their wings are the best. They also have a large selection of sandwiches. I'm working my way through the menu and have never been disappointed. The chicken cordon Bleu sandwich is amazing. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Magoo's is a GO TO place.
The cheese on the cheese bread appetizer was not melted. My brother’s Reuben was very fatty and inedible. My Philly Cheesesteak was ok but not prepared the way I asked. The french fries were pretty good. And the beer could have been colder. Our server was nice enough and easy on the eyes but too busy.
First time there and last, soon as we set down, the server was rude we ask about the happy hour she didn't care about explain we felt like to walk out then, but we decided to order some wings they where good, we about half way enjoy our food, she keeps ask if we are done and try to take everything away before we finish, the place where not to busy what was the rush? my wife had taste the wine she took the glass before she finished, bad first time experience, we will never go back again...

Stopped there after a round of disc golf, had the wings. The service and food were outstanding. They had March madness and another sports channel on for those who watch sports. Bathroom was clean, the seating area was clean and the menus weren't sticky. Great place to stop if you are in the Carolina Forest area. Easy to get to from 501.

We've been twice, once in the late afternoon and we enjoyed playing the trivia game. The food was good. The service was not so good. Our server was too busy chatting with a guy. I ordered a black and tan that the bartender couldn't make properly. We gave it another try the next night. We went in late after 10:00 p.m. we got a better bartender and a better server but the clientele looked rough. Some women looked like cheap strippers and quite a few of the men looked like hood rats. We will not be back.
