Reminded me of a authentic New York deli. The sandwich was seriously delicious. The meats and cheeses were fresh. The owner was very pleasant and devoted to his work. He put together a sub called " The Godfather" for us. We chose potato salad as a side which was homemade and very good as well. We will be returning for future visits.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap friendly

I forgot to take pictures, but we went here yesterday for lunch. The subs were decent. I'm from New England, and they were about what you'd expect from any mom and pop sub/sandwich shop back home. I did expect more based on the positive reviews here and all of the awards on the wall- but it was not a standout for me. However, I have no specific complaints about the food, either. That being said, this place smelled AWFUL inside!! My kids actually waited in the car because they couldn't stand it. I'm not sure if they were having plumbing issues that day or what but it smelled like a port a potty in the restaurant- not exactly the vibe I'm going for when I'm about to eat. I wouldn't go back.

A little hard to find. I missed it and made u turn. Saw in a picture of outside on Yelp which helped. it's right beside Mr. Fireworks. That helped retrace and find it. Old school on the inside. Simple but certainly comfortable and roomy. I'll take that any day over the opposite. Friendly staff though. Seemed to know some regulars by name. Nice. Certainly have opinions when cashier gets started. Not always pleasant. Medium sandwich was huge. Huge. Enough for two and I eat a lot. Plenty of meat and fixings. You get your money's worth. Impressive quality. Toasted as requested. Fresh. Worth the wait. Plenty of customers showing well loved place. Can't wait to introduce the family to it.

Took parents for lunch. Two Pastrami sandwiches, chicken salad and potato salad were all very much enjoyed. Pictured is the remainder of one pastrami (with provolone) sandwich that served as another lunch after it was heated for 10 minutes @350°

I searched for food near me and seen this place was rated high. Went in and ordered some subs. Watched the owner make them and couldn't believe the quality going into them. I commented to the owner that if I went to the grocery store I couldn't make a sub like that for the price. He can't be making any money. He said he doesn't make much but he's been making his subs the same for over 20 some years and he isn't going to change them. My sub was so good I had to go back for another and can't wait to get back to Myrtle to get another. These subs are worth way more than he charges. I suggest leaving him a tip to help keep him in business.

Mom & Pop joint that's been around forever. No frills but tasty food. Unique potato salad that was delicious. Cold subs were great, had a good rueben, chicken parm was meh. This place was hoppin at lunch time. It gets 5 stars because it's an institution.

Interesting experience, love the ambiance of this place. I had a Mannys and my wife had a Godfather sandwich. They were both very good and had tons of meat on them. Flavorful and good, but lacking in that extra flavor that could make the difference. I did not like the potato salad which is basically mashed potatoes with some seasoning. Lots if pepper and thd puckle helped. I would rather have a Jersey Mike's Sub anyway. Glad we went to try the place out. I love the ambiance, and the tables that are set on old sewing machine bases are really cool. The couple running the place are great. Probably won't be back, but I can see why they have a following, as they seem to know the customers well
