This place has the best seafood on the strand. The 2# of crab legs are the best kept secret of this place! All the food is amazingly fresh and they can accommodate a group of 16 people. All the food came out on time. The Cajun Grouper Sushi is awesome. A must have!

Spotless bathrooms. Nice staff! Blackened haddock was scrumptious. Fried oysters fresh and fried perfectly. Collard greens? Absolutely not, never, inedible ?️

In thirty years of vacationing, this is the first time in years that I could not finish the meal in one sitting. The portions were ridiculous, Godly even. Kind, sir/ma'am using staff. WILL go back.

That is MISTER Fish and Chips to you! They served a whole codfish with those fries!

Great food, great hospitality. Eric, our waiter, was excellent. We were a party of 25 people, and he handled us like a party of 2. Im from New York and have had some good seafood, but this is now one of my favorite places that I will recommend to anyone who visits. The hostess Melissa was super friendly and funny. She added to the overall positive experience.

I went to this restaurant after reading the reviews and I was very disappointed. I love seafood and fish so this would have been the ideal place for me. But and I say but, the shrimp and grits were terrible 8 tiny shrimp with clumpy grits and the sauce was not good. The menu said customer choice for 2018 and 2019 somebody lied. Not worth $25 that’s for sure. The shrimp was not fresh. I want be back after our $65 bill. My husband did not like his fish only thing we ate good was them tiny hush puppies.

This was our first time eating Mr. Fish! There was no wait so we were seated quickly! I asked about the side of the day and was told cucumber salad, me and my wife both ordered this as one of our sides but we only received one side of grilled vegetables (there weren't even any cucumbers in it). The fish and shrimp that I ordered were good, and my wife had chicken tacos that she enjoyed. It was good, but not what I expected. I probably wouldn't eat here again

We went around 7:30 on Friday night and was seated immediately. The seafood was the best I have had!! We had a party of 5 and everyone was completely satisfied with their meal. The crab bites were the best I have ever had!! Has to be their own recipe because I have never had them that good!! Do not skip on this restaurant you will not be disappointed!! Absolutely amazing food!!

My wife and I had dinner at Mr. Fish and really enjoyed everything. The service was great but more important the food was fantastic. The portions were generous and well worth the price. We both ordered shrimp. I ordered fried and she ordered sautéed. They both came with two sides. I had fries and cucumber salad and my wife had seasonal veggies and a baked potato. Very nice atmosphere as well. They have another building next door that sells fresh seafood. If you want to enjoy a great seafood meal this is the place. Thank you to all the kind staff who checked on us.

Great restaurant! Great service and the food is delicious. It could update the inside but very clean. Staff was very friendly and service minded. Definitely a great experience.

Pretty good selection. Kids were able to eat too! Husband had crab dinner. Didn’t come out very hot, but was still good. Sushi was “ok.”

Mr Fish has definitely gone downhill. We have been annual visitors to MB and every trip has included Mr Fish. Last October we visited and I ordered the fish sandwich. What was served was a big hunk of overly breaded fish on a hoagie roll. Not pieces of fish but one big hunk. Lousy presentation and barely edible. Then we retuned to MB and decided to give them another chance last night. One member of our party ordered the fried shrimp and it was very good. Two others ordered the fish and chips. Not nicely portioned pieces of fish - no, one big hunk of fish on fries. The fish was overcooked and not at all appetizing. Sorry Mr Fish. You are off our list of go to restaurants for our MB future trips.

If you’re looking for some seafood in Myrtle Beach, there are a ton of restaurants, and chains…but we got the recommendation of this local owned for 50+ years restaurant from a local hotel worker who said this is the place to go! It had amazing food and awesome happy hour specials. Servers were nice! Make sure you go there for happy hour for the early bird specials almost half off! Everything was amazing!Kid-friendliness: An easy going restaurant, family and kid friendly!Parking: Pull right in and park!

We had a large group with kids in the sushi room, and it was great because I didn't feel like we bothered other groups. For appetizers, we had calamari, the bang bang shrimp tower with fried tomatoes, crab dip, and edamame, and loved it all. Great group appetizers! Kids liked everything too. I had the ahi tuna crunch roll without rice and just LOVED IT. It was hearty tuna steak with delicious Wasabi and great dipping sauce. We all agreed that we will return when we come each summer. Excellent service that understands groups and kids. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Extensive kid menu with crayons, plenty of space separate of the main dining room, boosters and high chairs.

The last night of our vacation at MB, tried Mr. Fish for the first time, and so glad we did! From the hushpuppies with honey-butter (starter), to fried shrimp (my “go-to” seafood staple), and a shrimp & grits entrée (that paired visual appeal with savory goodness), a great meal all the way around! Kudos to Hannah for taking such great care of us from start to finish! She was friendly, funny, engaging and attentive. If it’s been a while since your dining experience combined good food and great customer service, we highly recommend you go see Hannah at Mr. Fish!
