This was my first time at the restaurant but my cousins had been there before. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the music playing was great(had me and my little cousin dancing) and the other customers were great to talk with. Our waitress was not attentive at all. She came a few times to see if we ready to order but after that, we seen the other waitresses than her. The most we seen her was when she brought the checks and she was very attentive then. She kept coming back to see if we were ready to pay. When we did get our food, I asked for a plate to put some on because we had got a shareable and I was brought a Barbie playhouse plate. All in all, it was a good place to visit.Edit: I forgot this picture. I thought the cups were used once and I was wondering how you all was able to do it. I was told the cups were able to be taken home. While we were eating, I seen this spot but I thought it was from the soda being cold. Got in the car and I noticed it was still there, with no drink in it. That isn't good.

We just arrived here to start spring break with our 5 boys.! I called just before they were closing and the young lady who answered was extremely pleasant and happy to take my order. Especially being that I don’t think she worked to-go.. My husband came back with our meals and can I just say I’ve never seen packaging this neat EVER.! Everything was accounted for. She even threw in some plates which was extremely helpful. The food was DELICIOUS.! Kahuna tacos hands down my favorite.! The hungry hippo nachos another DELICIOUS order. However the wings I must rate a 100/10 .! So damn good.! I’ll be dining in soon.Do not sleep on this place!!!

Nacho Hippo in The Market Common Myrtle Beach lives up to its name, offering a fun and flavorful Tex-Mex experience for the whole family. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect:The Good:Nacho Average Nachos: Their claim to fame, the "Best of the Beach" nachos, are a must-try. They come in a variety of sizes to satisfy any appetite.Taco 'bout Variety: Dozens of handmade tacos means there's a flavor combo for everyone.More Than Just Tex-Mex: The menu also features quesadillas, burritos, and other Mexican staples if you're looking to explore beyond the nachos.Family-Friendly Fun: Sidewalk seating allows you to soak up the Myrtle Beach atmosphere, and live entertainment adds to the lively vibe. Flat-screen TVs keep everyone entertained if there's a game on.A Few Things to Consider:Tex-Mex Style: If you're looking for a more authentic Mexican experience, Nacho Hippo might be a little on the Americanized side.Possible Wait Times: Especially during peak tourist season, there could be a wait for a table.Overall:Nacho Hippo is a solid choice for a fun and casual Mexican meal in Myrtle Beach. The portions are generous, the atmosphere is lively, and the menu offers something for everyone. It's a great spot to grab a bite with friends or family after a day at the beach.

HARASSED!!!! DISCRIMINATED!!!! TILL THE POINT OF CRYING DUE TO BEING FOLLOWED OUT THE DOOR BY THE BIG TALL BARTENDER NAMED NICK the bartender here followed myself and two other woman outside the door. Asking us “how was the service because we didn’t tip? We proceeded to let him know it was ok! confused on why did he rush out the door after we where finished with our dining experience to ask us that !! He then proceeded to tell me he has seen me here before and have serviced me and my boyfriend which was my first time there it made me feel very uncomfortable and singled out !! HE TOLD ME “IF WE CANT TIP WE NEED TO GO TO McDonald’s “!! loud in front of other customers since we can’t afford tipping him !! He was so upset with us he didn’t see the tip that was left on the card transaction. IN SHOCK BY WHAT JUST OCCURRED We let the manager know and he proceeded to tell us to calm down when we weren’t even that loud .Anybody would be upset if they where followed and harassed by a big guy like that he gave us a number to the boss. But that was all that was done ,we felt his behavior was acceptable to them because he did it with no issue. Why would you ever tell someone they are broke !! I feel if I went back I wouldn’t trust him this experience made me feel unsafe and discriminated against all Because we didn’t give him the tip he thought he deserved!! I wish I could get this experience back we just came to enjoy lunch on our break and left out in tears and bad thoughts!

The food is marginal at best and the service is atrocious. Spend your money elsewhere. Had the nachos and they were stale, overpriced, and just not good at all. I would recommend Taco Mundo or other Barefoot Landing restaurants.Response to response: Thank you for reaching out. Please contact Dawn Formo in your corporate office, she has all of my contact information and is familiar with my complaint! thanks, Aaron

Open air restaurant with a bar. Crayons and kids menus for the little ones. Nachos were great, mojito (called a hip-hito here) was delicious and dessert was on point. We'll be back when we're in the area.

A fun vibe. The nachos were amazing! There was enough topping for all the nachos and the shareable size was good for me and my son.

The nachos are yummy but the plates are way too small, you spend the whole meal trying not to fling your food everywhere. Drinks were good.

I give this place a 2 star review because the atmosphere was fun. The food tastes like it came out of a can and the salsa tastes like generic jarred salsa. It was disappointing that we had to pay for the chips and salsa. Parking at this particular chain was weird. You had to park in the garage and walk to the restaurant whilst trying to avoid getting hit by the cats in the garage.Parking: There was a free parking garage and you had to walk about ato the restaurant

Had the Love You Long Time Taco and the Kahuna Taco, the Peter's Pickled Peppers along with the Hipponachomous Nachos. Tacos and Peppers were amazing (ranch was on-point)! The nachos were good for sure, but the chicken and the beef didn't seem very well seasoned....I think they would've been amazing if the meats were more seasoned.

This is our favorite place to eat when we're visiting the Market Commons area, on the weekends. We live the outdoor seating that faces the huge park across the street. Shareable nachos & cold libations makes for a good rest between festivities, art shows & walking our pooch in the park.
