Soooooo not sure why they had such high reviews...we drove all the way across town bc they had birthday pancakes and my daughter wanted them...that was the only good thing...A couple went in before us and left bc service was slow..we came in and we're seated...another large family that looks nothing like my family were seated 5 min later and a waitress ran to take their order...they got their food 20 min before us.....and when we were finally acknowledged the waitress said oh I thought you guys were together....yeah right!!!!Back to my table ..my pancake was stuck to the plate it was disgusting...my Omelette had a million pieces of sausage and barely any cheese.....my kids french toast looked like a toddler made it..and it was rubbery....They brought me a drink I didn't order and then took it to the other table with another black lady...we did not look alike and were clear across the restaurant....The waitress charged me 3$ for water..at that point I got management involved...she came and apologized at her other job they charge for bottle water...we got regular table water however....Anyway I hate I drove 15 min to eat here....and I didn't want to add to her clearly racial undertones so I tipped ...but I'm leaving an honest review...it sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, horrible service, 5 shrimp in the shrimp and grits, no flavor.Couldn't even order a side, our waitress was too busy taking on new tables.While eating, they decided to use some strong cleaner in the bathroom, gave the food a little flavor at least. ?

A simple atmosphere that forces you to be seen and heard by any servers or personnel inside. Christy was an amazing server and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.
