Yesterday I mistakenly gave this River City a one star review. Today I am writing an 'overall" review that sums up my experience at this location over the years.Actually, I have not attended this location in about a year, so it the review yesterday was a huge mistake. Maybe I accidentally did this posting pictures somehow? Regardless, I owe the hard-working managers and employees a huge apology. Make sure that the powers that be at Divine Dining see this reversal, too, ok?River City, no matter which location, is always a great place to eat. With it's consistent menu and service standards it is always easy to find a new favorite! I would recommend to locals and tourists alike. Again, I am terribly sorry about the confusion

My food was made incorrectly twice. I then gave up and said I didn’t want it. The server was nice and removed the entree, but I still had to pay for my tea even though I didn’t have anything to eat with it. It was sad that the manager never came around to apologize for wasting my time and ruining my appetite due to this major one-hour inconvenience. Do better River City!!! Your customers deserve it when paying the inflated prices with their hard earned money. I did leave my number for the operation’s manager to reach out if they’d like, but I haven’t heard from anyone as of today, which further supports their replies are only to save face and not actually take care of a customer’s poor experience. Awful!!!

It's a phenomenal diner experience. Food is fresh and taste great. Comfort food with a large selection. My family have been going here for over a decade now and will continue to well into the future. If you're in Myrtle this is definitely a stop you have to make.

Great Burgers! Make sure you order the burger with an egg on top, delicious! I also like their chili, I've tried it at the swing bridge location and was really good. The one in Surfside is also really good.

If you need a drink and a burger fix this is the place. Good burgers, a little pricey. But the service is good. And you can't beat the free peanuts.

River City Café, Socastee. My wife was dying to try it. The food was amazing. The service was great. There's nothing bad I could say about this place. I will definitely go again. They have a nice size menu. I would like to go back and try other things. I drink a lot of soda, so the waitress kept filling the cup without me having to ask, five thumbs up for that.
