We stop in occasionally if we pass on our way home from the VA clinic. This last time, we got potato salad, hash n rice, beef brisket and okra. Okra was cooked perfectly. My husband said the brisket was a little tough, but he has dental issues anyway. The potato salad has a kick. Hash is good.

My husband & I ordered brisket sandwiches with 2 sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. We tried the Baby sauce by recommendation of an employee. We would definitely buy a bottle of the Baby sauce if we could.

Very friendly folks. My wife an I were at Myrtle Beach and came across this diamond in ruff. I love trying different BBQ joints a Truth BBQ did not disappoint. Don’t be discouraged by the location. We tried it all Brisket, Ribs, Pulled Pork, an Chicken. The sauces were very good, all unique. I’m normally not much on sauce but theirs was a good combination. We will be back the next time we are in town.

Amazing BBQ! Some of the best fall off the bone ribs I've ever had. Seasoning mix was awesome for all 4 meats we tried. You don't need sauce because the flavor is so good but thier sauces were well made and tasted amazing. Try the Uncle Jah with the chicken. The brisket was juicy and cooked to perfection no sauce needed just enjoy. If there were more stars to give they'd have them.? Pricing is great lot of food we split the large sampler and will still have enough for another meal.

Loved this place as a hole in the wall with outside picnic benches. Feels how BBQ should be served. I really enjoyed the food. I couldn’t tell if the bbq was oven baked like some claim, but I thought it was very tasty. I loved the baked mac. Had the crispy layer on top. The slaw was very good as well. I’d definitely eat here again. I think it’s probably closer to 4.5 on my rating system. I even had the chance to meet the owners parents. Very nice folks!!

Writing this review from a CA visiting ! AMAZING, best bbq I've had in my life, we got the family sampler with Mac & cheese, baked beans & potato salad. OMGGGGG. All for $45! I could'nt believe how good it was. Sides that were actually tasty and full of flavor. Potato salad, EXACTLY how it should taste. Not some unseasoned potato salad. Meat had a nice Smokey flavor. Chicken & ribs were fall off the bone & the first things gone. 4 pieces of bread immediate into sandwiches full of pulled pork with the daddy sauce. Service was A1, and definitely had that southern hospitality flair. Will definitely be back anytime I'm here visiting family. Thank you true BBQ!! I will now go home and think about my next visit to SC!

True BBQ is the hidden gem in Socastee, SC. Come out and see Tineka and her family Thu-Sat. Beef brisket sandwich as on point! Sauces and sides were handmade. Definitely coming back. 5-star Barbecue.
