I ordered the meat pizza which was good flavor but the crust was a bit too chewy for me. Would still eat here again
The wife and I stopped in for lunch with some friends during training week at work. She got the cheese manicotti with white sauce, and I got the cheese ravioli with white sauce. The flavor for both was exactly what we were looking for with classic Italian, creamy cheesy goodness wrapped inside perfectly cooked pasta. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are a bit small for my liking, but sometimes I am a big eater, so that could just be me.
Amazing food. First time here but will be back. And you get such portions that you will be stuffed half way through.
Food was great as always, our server well thats a different story...Overall love the place and the owner is one great guy for sure.....
Best pizza in the area. Good food, staff alert, our server kept my husband's glass filled, no easy task
Stopped by after my visit in UPS. Had a red blend. Will be back to eat and try out the menu.
The food was very good! My husband and I ordered 2 appetizers, one large hand tossed pizza, a soda, and a cheesecake, all for under $40 (not including tip). We ordered the pesto cheesy bread -our least favorite thing but still decent. It is half a hoagie roll with pesto and cheese. The bread was okay but we would have preferred it on the dough that the pizza roll and pizza are made out of. The pizza rolls are good as well, my husband's only complaint with that was that the pepperoni is sliced too thinly.I loved the pizza. It is one of the best I've tried in the aiken/north augusta/augusta area. My husband thought it was too greasy, but I thought it was amazing. We defintely came home with leftovers and it was deifntely worth the value.I had to try the cheesecake and I thought it was fantastic! Probably my favorite I've had in a very long time. Not too sweet, but still amazing. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Service was a tad slow, but it seemed like they were in the middle of a shift change and it also looks like the serving staff takes care of to go orders.I highly recommend giving this place a shot!
FYI, I am from New York city and I've been to Italy so have high standards for Italian food and especially pizza. I had already tried the pizza and found it about the best I've had locally. My wife, also from NY thought the crust could've been crunchier but otherwise it was pretty good. I ordered a meatball parm hero (that's what they're called in NY). It was okay, a tad salty but would never stand up to what you can get on any block in NY. Still we really liked the service and atmosphere here and will probably return if only for the pizza.
The food was delicious but it was so hot in there we could hardly eat. Our waitress was nice but didn't write our orders down and quite a few things came out that had to be fixed. I'll go back and try it again but if it's always that hot in there, that will be the deal breaker for me.
Food was tasty and the service was excellent. We had baked penne and meat cannelloni with meat sauce on both. They were both very good and hot and tasted home made. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Not disappointing, also not mind blowing. Friendly and welcoming, fairly quick service. Prices are definitely at the peak of their range for the quality of food.
Always excellent food and great service. Prices are reasonable as well. Really enjoy the antipasto salad and the calzone!!
We went in on a Tuesday at noon and it was packed, which was a great sign for us. We ended up just ordering to go since we had a hangry two year old. The Neapolitan pizza was delicious and made to order, or you can order by the slice if that's what you want. We also got their bough bites and they were perfection- little balls of garlic buttery goodness! We will go back sometime when we have time to sit and enjoy it in the restaurant.
Stopped in for some pizza and Italian cuisine with my Aunts who live in Aiken. Wanted to try something local. I had the Stromboli which was more like a pressed sandwich. My aunt had an Italian sub. The service was quick and efficient. Restaurant was clean. Overall experience was okay.
this was the first time we visited Antonio's the food was great we will definitely be back 5 stars
