It was my first time here. The food was very good and the drinks were too tier! The service could have been much better, I think. Maybe it was just the waiter we had. I will try again.

Prices are way too inflated for the amount and quality of food. The servers seem lost, I asked what kind of juices they have and the guy said they had no juices while pointing at the drink section of the menu, where clearly there are two juices listed. Also my husband asked for steak and shrimp fajitas, and he got chicken instead of steak.... I should mention the place was completely empty so it's not like they were trying to keep up with rush and mistakes are made. The only thing going for the restaurant is the music selection.... But I can get that at home for free

After having a not-so-great experience across the street at a neighbor restaurant, we decided to come to Rio Cantina instead. Not only were they able to accommodate a party of 16 with no reservation, or notice, but we also received remarkable service and great food. I wish we caught our servers name, but he was awesome and we really appreciate the service. 10/10!!

Had the caldo de rez! All I can say it was a sad caldo! It had two small pieces of beef. SMH! Will never order that

Had a great time here! My margarita was delicious, along with the bean dip and chimichanga. Gabe was my server and he absolutely killed it. 5 stars all around. Gabe’s the best!!!

Dinner with friends!Tonight we ate until we could eat anymore. Of course we stared with chips, salsa, and queso. The queso dip was thick and had a nice flavor, not watered down like a lot of restaurants. My husband and I ordered pork tacos, shrimp tacos, and chicken tamales. The shrimp tacos were good but the elote was delicious - probably the best elote I've had from any restaurant in Augusta. I could easily have just ordered the elote as my meal. Our server was very attentive to our table even with it being as busy as it was. There was karaoke tonight and a lot of friends-mas parties that were going on.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in North Augusta. The Taco Loco is my favorite.

Hate to leave a poor review, but this place is straight up nasty. I don’t know how you manage to make cheese disgusting, but they have managed to do so. Must use the cheapest and ingredients. Don’t take your chances..

We sat outside and the beautiful weather provided the perfect setting for this restaurant. Our waiter was super attentive and gave great recommendations as this was my first time here. My food came out quickly and was seasoned to perfection!!!

This has to be the worst mexican I've ever had. Their ribeye is gristle and tasteless. Their margarita is so sour its impossible to drink. A member of our party had a frozen margarita and it was neon green. I don't know how long this place has been here but I wouldn't imagine it being around long. It's pretty difficult to mess mexican up. But they found a way.

I love Rio! And I love the location! The food is fantastic! The service is usually very good, just slow. But I imagine that is because they are so busy. The me u options are great and my favorite meal is the Taco Loco! I also love that I can order from Rio inside the ballpark!

The waitress which I later found out was a manager was rude and gave dirty looks to our table. Party of 3 of women and I asked for more chips and she said only 3 people you only get 1 basket of chips. I ordered beef burrito and it came out bean. The waiter brought it out and he corrected it with no problem. She came out and said why it that beef, I said I ordered beef. I don’t eat bean. She wanted to argue with me. I went to complain and they said she’s the manager there’s nothing that can be done. She kept trying to rush us out even though we were spending money. Poor management. I have never been treated in such matter at a restaurant. . I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me.

Unfortunately the manager Yanira was so rude to us. She was not friendly. Did not want to serve us. Got our order wrong and was mad at us for saying something. She went to other customers before us. Didn’t check on us. When asking for her name, she refused to give us her name. This was the WORST experience. She was rude and unprofessional and nobody in the establishment cared.
