My daughter and I dined in the Park Circle location. Service was slow. Waiter disappeared pretty much after we got our drinks. Got the duck fried rice. Hard to find any duck. My daughter got shrimp soup and it had 5 or 6 shrimp. We are regulars and it was just disappointing as this place is not cheap.

We went there tonight because we saw $6 wine advertised during happy hour. Virtually every other restaurant on the street had a happy hour. Our waitress told us that it was discontinued after COVID. We asked to see the manager and she ignored us. We paid $9 each for a drop of wine, and our friend got a shot over ice, and they charged him $3 extra for the ice cube. The food was good, but obviously there is a reason they were the only restaurant on the street not packed with people.

Had a chance to try Basil during restaurant week 2024. Starting with the fried wontons (not pictured I forgot to grab a picture before I devoured them) very nice, different in taste because they’re not crab but not different in a bad way. Good portion app with about 8-10 served in it. The Pad Thai and Pad See Eu were both great dishes and very flavorful. With good portion sizes. I had the Pad Thai medium and felt as if it could’ve easily been a mild so the server was gracefully able to provide additional spice (garlic chili paste) so feel on the safe side ordering knowing the spice level will not be overbearing. For dessert I had the Raspberry Cheesecake which was amazingly light and soft, not dense at all it was a dream to finish the meal with. The mixed drink was the Creamy Lemon Cake which was very delicious and almost felt like a dessert in of itself. It had an actual lemon cake aftertaste with little to no alcohol taste during or after the drink. Our server was incredibly kind, happy to serve, and had a bubbly welcoming personality. Safe to say I will definitely be back here for more.Parking: Parking is what it is in park circle for dinner on a Saturday. We were able to park on the side street for a short under 3 minute walk to the restaurant.

It’s a popular spot so if you decide to come, do so at your earliest convenience! The alcoholic beverages were great! I love it when the alcohol is subtle and not overwhelming. The wontons as appetizers were delicious. The chicken Masaman curry was absolutely incredible!! The heat level was mild and rightfully so!

Usually super fresh and delicious, ordered here last night for Uber eats delivery and was horrible! I have video, o got chicken and shrimp pad Thai from the Daniel Island location and it was ALL noodles, rubber chicken and shrimp, and no flavor. I have video- two one inch scallion pieces in the whole order. Awful.

The atmosphere was elegant and upscale. The service was warm and inviting. Our waitress was attentive to us during dinner. For our appetizer, we ate the stuff shrimp which were really delicious. Unfortunately, dinner was not a "wow". I ate Basil Shrimp and I felt like the shrimp were not fresh caught. Considering their location, I would expect fresh local shrimp. I did love the fact that they offered brown rice as an option. Hubby ate the Basil Beef. He enjoyed it; however, he did request Thai Hot and felt that the heat level was not hot or in comparison to other Thai restaurants. This was our 1st dining experience at the PC location.
