They tell you not to judge a book by it's cover and this is a great example. You can see they have put some effort into making the interior comfortable and modernized. I ordered the Fried chicken and French toast. Absolutely no complaints at all. The French toast reminded you of home made French toast and the chicken was banging! And the owner Ms Roberts has that southern hospitality that makes you feel comfortable once you arrive.
Baaaby! Don’t come to Charleston and not eat here! The chicken and waffles, and the fish and grits are off the chain!!! Amazing taste and great value, and service is awesome too. Hubby and I really enjoyed our visit!

Amazing good! I believe the name has changed - I forgot what he told me but regardless the food is out of this world!! I had the homemade Belgian waffle and I have never tasted anything so good!!! A1 all around! Will be back when I come home again!
