People are nice, they have items u may not find in a grocery store or vitamin store like soursops & the restaurant side gives you the bang for your buck! My favorite thing here isn’t the food it’s the 100’s drink?. I can only get it here☺️

Ordered food for delivery and this is the quality of food that was sent. Main dish ordered was brown stewed chicken, which was decent but the rice and peas lacked flavor. Fried plantains had to had been fried this morning and sat in grease, soggy and slimey. Mac and cheese is burnt and hard, inedible. Extremely disappointing.

I will never order from here again! The food is halfway okay. Do not order curry goat because all you will get is bones and gravy. Only gave my uber eats half of my order, had to reorder and they still didn't give all the food. The first time I ordered there was a weird plastic thing in the oxtail. I am over this place completely, it is beyond not worth the price. Go to Taste of the Islands instead. The food is better and they have NEVER messed up my order EVER!

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND VERY DIRTY PLACE!!I'm from Trinidad ?? and was excited to see this store in Charleston, went in and wasn't even greeted by any of the 4 workers. The place was very dusty and rotten fruits and vegetables were on display. I swear EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING I picked up was expired as far back as July 22nd, 2022 (today is August 3rd, 2023).We walked out and went next door to the restaurant section, and wasn't even greeted by the girl there and the containers (warmers) which the food are in had scum marks on them and looked very dirty. Very dark, smelly, murky, dusty restaurant. They needed a zero star!A shame to label themselves as Caribbean, knowing we take pride in our cleanliness and hospitality. DOESN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS ON GOOGLE!! We walked right out.

The ladies were very nice. I ordered curry chicken. I got a lot of food. The rice and cabbage are great. The chicken is TERRIBLE. It tastes like it was cooked a month ago then put in a ziploc bag without gravy. It is dry and chewy and plain old. It smells old. I've eaten here many times. This is the worst I've ever had here.

I just recently went to this place and got the fish that's soking in that gravy with the head still on..I spent $22 and that fish was so dry and fried to hard me personally I'm never going back

Found out about this place on Reddit, where it was the first recommendation for Jamaican groceries.Very much like the bodegas on Utica in Brooklyn. It even smells the same.Loaded up on rock cake, spice buns, plantains, and bread with cheese. The wife is dusting off some old recipes, now that she knows where to find the ingredients.
Not bad, but it could be much better.
