“What a wonderful place! They have delicious breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. The egg cheese and bacon on toast was buttery and scrumptious! We had the loaded tots which had a ton of fresh bacon chopped on top. They had pumpkin cinnamon rolls that were not super sweet, but had a lovely pumpkin flavor and really hit the spot. They also roast their own coffee and our Fall Harvest blend was just the right layer of cinnamon and spice without being too overt. I highly recommend popping in for coffee and something to eat - on top of the good food the staff is super friendly and helpful.“
“I first tried the Organic Sumatra a my friend’s house. My wife wasn’t a huge fan, I decided to grab a couple of bags of whole bean from my local Ingles. The Kiawah is our perfect middle ground. Medium to bold roast, chocolate undertones, very smooth. Great in a drip coffee maker, great as a pour over, also makes a really good cold brew. The Rainforest is actually really good too. But when I’m drinking by myself, I’m back to the Sumatra. As a South Carolina native, I also love that it’s local; but it wouldn’t matter where it’s roasted, I’d drink it…“
“Great cold brew, nice atmosphere. Quiet and comfortable. The employees were nice and efficient. They have an array of different coffee blends to choose from and I haven't tried one that I don't like. I prefer my coffee black as well.“
“The best coffee and light cafe style breakfast on James Island without a doubt. The only reviews below 5 stars are people who were expecting gross fast food drip but got excellent pour over instead.Parking: Plenty of parking in the grocery store strip mall lot.Kid-friendliness: The staff was lovely to my kids and I feel 100% comfortable sending my kids in there to order alone.“
“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We visited on a Sunday afternoon with live music playing and this spot was beautiful and well designed. The menu had a curated list of a variety of draft beers, cocktails, ciders, and wine. The food was fantastic from the wood fired truck on site! Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to my pup. There were plenty of seating options at the outdoor picnic tables, indoor high tops, and some cozy spots with couches. We will definitely be back!“
“I want to start this off by letting anyone reading this know, I loveeeeeee the taste of Mudhouse coffee. The mocha latte I get with oat milk is PHENOMENAL every time!I had just one issue coming in today. When I was handed the 16oz latte (which is pretty pricey at $8.88 but I knew what I was paying especially on King st) my coffee didn’t feel like a “glass half full” at all…This photo is before I even took a sip…With how expensive the coffees are here, I just hope next time it’s filled up in the 16oz cup. I still love coming here, but a little disappointed this round:(“
“Very high quality lattes, we had the iced honey lavender and the hot vanilla lattes. The syrups are delicious house made and not overly sweet like many, which makes it. Really nice atmosphere with a quiet space to talk or work. Will definitely be back.“
“I love the coffee I make in my own kitchen- and I also savor the 20 min or so sitting at home drinking my delicious coffee in the morning before I get into my day. It takes a lot to get me to break from that routine. I prefer to meet someone for almost anything else other than coffee- to protect that time for myself in my own kitchen with the wonderful coffee I make at home. That was at least until I tried the coffee at Bottleneck. I had it for the first time several years ago at a local farmers market- the Vietnamese coffee (as another reviewer mentioned is mind blowing). I loved it but I tend to be a coffee purist- don't add anything. I want to taste the coffee. Now Bottleneck comes to MUSC- where I work. I will now forgo my coffee at home for a coffee from Bottleneck. I mostly get the Nitro- cool, black coffee infused with nitrogen. No ice. The varietal changes regularly so I know I am getting a world tour over time. Sometimes I switch it up and get hot black coffee, sometimes iced black coffee. No matter, it's always delicious.“
“Stopped in as I was driving by today for a quick cup of Joe. The murals on the outside of the building give it a nice inviting feel. It's obvious from the outside that it's a warehouse that does more than just serve a simple cup of Joe. It's a whole roasting facility Because they are a whole roasting facility they have available different blends, different roasts in different grinds. I simply went after a drip blend that I thoroughly enjoyed. It tasted amazing! Some of the best I've had. A great size for a great price and a super friendly staff. Next time I'm in North Charleston, I'll definitely be stopping in again.“
