As a fat guy, and a chef, it's hard to please me with food, but Quan knows what he's doing! Not only is the food fantastic, and priced too low in my opinion, but my 1 & 1/2 year old enjoyed the pulled chicken, mac & cheese, rice and potato salad! Two hard critics are full and beyond happy!

Very friendly service and good food. The ribs were perfectly tender and pulled chicken and pork were good with the sauces offered. Mac n cheese noodles were a little over cooked but I would definitely eat there again.

Quan's is a hidden gem!!! I ordered the pulled pork plate with Mac n cheese/baked beans. The portions were generous, the baked beans sweet, Mac n cheese seasoned to perfection, & the meat was tender & flavorful. It came with mustard-based & vinegar-based sauces (which I poured all over my pork). When this place just opened, Quan knocked on our office door to give us some menus. Fast forward a few weeks later & I was in a pinch for a hearty lunch. I called in my order & 5 min later I was at the door, my food already prepared & Quan waiting with a smile. You can TASTE the passion in his food. 10/10 would recommend & I will be a regular! If you work in the North Charleston area, definitely check this place out for lunch! The service is inviting & there is plenty space to sit & eat.
Good food. Good price simple as that. Had the brisket tad dry but the sauce was amazing so it made up for it. Beans were sweetened and Mac was cheesy and hot. Couldn't ask for much more at a bbq place.

I stumbled across Quan's BBQ by accident. Walking up the street, I could smell the aroma of barbecue and knew I needed to come back. Your first greeting will be the undeniable smell of great food. I ordered the chicken plate for $9. It comes with two sides and I choose brisket yellow rice and mac and cheese. The pulled chicken is full of favor, the portion is huge, and the sauce is an added bonus. The brisket yellow rice was moist but I was expecting more pieces of brisket meat in the rice. This rice was good and flavorful though which many restaurants yellow rices have trouble with. The mac and cheese is cheesy and really pulled my meal together. If you do nothing else... give this place a try. I promise you, you won't regret it!!! I'm very picky about my bbq because my dad is a master at it but this really compared to my dad's cooking (just don't let him know that ). Great food at a great price from a local; truly unbeatable!
