By far the best authentic in town pushed tiki taco to number 2 for us. Best hole in wall in Charleston it’s a definite go to spot

A great place for great tasting Mexican food. As someone who also works a una taqueria. This place takes me back. The tortillas are handmade, which is such a incredible difference to more mechanically made tortillas. Furthermore, the salsa are good with nice flavor and the spice is not overpowering. Overall, a brilliant taqueria with the right things.- Güero

What a hidden gem! Came here for an early dinner and was absolutely blown away with how good the food was. My son and I both ordered tacos: I had chicken tinga and carnitas, my son had asada (steak). All are served in the traditional style with pickled onions, radishes, etc. Tortillas are HANDMADE corn, as they should be. Not sure if flour is even an option for the tacos, but with fresh tortillas that are this good, who needs them? This place deserves much more attention. I'll be back for sure!

Authentic Mexican food with great spicy salsa. I had the tacos and ceviche both were amazing at a more than reasonable price. I don’t know if it’s always cash only but it was when I went.

Came here a few weeks ago, I'll have to give 2 stars because of inconvenience and how unsanitary. I'm Hispanic so I know if a place looks like this, the food will be good and it was. The issues I had was that none of the employees wore masks, they allowed customers with no mask, or hand washing walk in and out the kitchen to converse with the cooks while they were cooking. I believe they also have some type of cosmetic business in one of the back rooms because the acetone (nail polish remover) smell was really strong. They just have a lot going on and I was just there to pick up my food. They only accept cash as well which made if inconvenient.

When they first opened, the food was great and the prices were affordable. Then, they increased prices drastically, cut hours and their food is not the same. I arrived there at 5:00 P.M. the last time and the owner didn’t even open the door claiming that the grills were still not hot yet. In another occasion, they also refused service because I arrived at 8:50 to purchase something to go and they close at 9:00.
