I stopped by for a quick work lunch after searching on Yelp. Plenty of street parking. Short line inside, looked like a blue collar kinda place. Walk up to the counter and there's a steam table full of meat and beans. I ordered the Carne Asada Special burrito. It was full of meat, beans, rice, and guac. Very friendly counter service. Prices are decent and your order is made quickly. They dumped a scoop of chips in my bag... a little grease on the paper bag never hurt anyone! Salsa is nice and spicy. Went back to work and ate it up. Good flavor but coulda used some pico inside to round it out. I'll be back to try something else next time.

We ordered the beef tongue super burrito and a dinner plate with tacos, quesadillas, and flautas--everything was delicious! What I loved most was feeling satisfied without the heavy aftertaste. That's a big plus for me.

I came here after hearing all of the hype around their mission-style burritos. Had a carne asada super burrito and it was pretty good. The flavors were all there--overall, a solid burrito that I would get again. Extra points because I was attended to quickly and was in and out in less than 10 mins! The staff were really patient and helpful :)

When in the Mission District, it's imperative to have a Mission burrito. Taqueria El Buen Sabor was absolutely packed when we went for lunch, but the line moved fast, and we ordered our burrito and sat at the counter to eat. Total cost under $10.00, which was really affordable with generous portions. The flour tortilla was soft and warmed, and the cheese, rice, and everything inside were creamy and savory-- the green salsa on the side was solid, too. Overall, no-frills solid establishment at a good price.

I have never made a yelp review before but I sincerely believe Taquieria el buen Sabor serves the best burritos I've ever had. Please go here and supper their business. The staff is always extremely kind and the food is amazing

Yo! Everything I asked to not be on my burrito was put on my burrito. I ended up tossing it in the compost bin. Thank you for ruining my year. I will never return and clean them dirty ass floors and bathroom.

Delicious food, lots of options, and fast service. My partner and I ordered two super burritos - one carnitas and one asada, chips and salsa, a churro, and Jarritos. I was a little shocked at the nearly $50 price tag after tip, but it ended up being a TON of food. The burritos are a giant! It was enough for lunch and then a snack later on. A great option if you're in the area!

I am very disappointed at the service I received, ordered 2 asada super burritos, and I am barely any meat, not tasteful ugh disgusting. Been going here for years never had anything like today.
Back in the day this place had the best crispy taco around and they were right around two dollars. That was a long time ago. I recently went in to have a couple crispy tacos and the tacos are just as good as always. Obviously, they are two dollars anymore because they can't be because of inflation and time passes etc. etc. But still so so delicious. All their meats are good. Even their vegetarian stuff is good. And their sauces are out of this world. Love this place so much check it out. Valencia Street has obviously changed and not so much for the better, but this place is still killer.love it love it

This place is our staple. I am a single dad of one, so cooking doesn't always make sense. Fortunately there is enough variety and taste here to keep us coming back 3 times a week. It's not just the burritos. The shrimp taco is very fancy and super delicious. Quesadillas are a great change of pace. Don't stick to just carne asada try the other options they are all delicious. The service is efficient and they have been patient with my kid for the last decade. On party nights on Valencia street this place is crowded but don't let the line fool you, it moves fast. Tip: if you are there early you can find flan over by the drinks but more often than not it's sold out.

I was craving both loaded burritos and loaded nachos one day so I knew I had to get some. The Special Burrito I got was basically like a super burrito, but without the lettuce. I loved how loaded the burrito was and the Super Nachos came in a large portion which was also loaded with toppings too. I'd recommend this place! This place sells huge burritos, nacho plates, tacos, quesadillas, and dinner plates with your choice of meat!
