I stopped into Lew's on a lark after seeing it on my way to pick up some dry cleaning. It's really a bakery/baking supply store, but they have a ton of baked goods available as grab & go items. When I stopped in there was pound cake, cheesecake, cinnamon rolls, and sweet potato rolls. All of the items come in a variety of flavors, like the pound cake was available in lemon berry, vanilla, sweet potato, and egg nog flavors. I got a sweet potato roll since I had never heard of one. It was absolutely amazing! It was like a cinnamon roll bread, with sweet potato pie filling mixed in where a cinnamon roll would have the sugar and cinnamon, and a cream cheese icing. It was served warm and was sooooo good without being too sweet. My daughter loved it too. I absolutely loved it! I wish I had tried some of the other items, and I am sure that I will be back. The owner was friendly and happy to explain the menu. J.Ja

Our first visit was Sunday 8/20. We had heard so much about the sweet potato chewies. We traveled through heavy rain and it was worth it!! We bought sweet potato chewies, sweet potato cheesecake, pound cake (lemon, vanilla and pineapple) and chewies. EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious!! The chewies were still warm. We will definitely be back.

Best birthday treat ever. Came here on Saturday (August 5th) for my bday and omg everything I brought was so delicious. I brought sweet potato chewies, oreo cheesecake, and sweet potato cinnamon rolls. Everything taste so delicious, fresh, and nice and hot. The owner is so friendly and very pleasant. Even the young lady at the register was very nice and welcoming. The place was very easy to locate. I am so obsessed over these chewies and rolls, I told my fiancé we definitely will be going back this weekend. Listen, this young lady has a gift. I know we all have that favorite aunt, lady in the church, or granny that can bake, but Lew's Heavenly Treats is a game changer on Ashley Phosphate Rd. She's in a strip mall across the street from the old Brunswick bowling alley that they tore down, that is now a 7-Eleven gas station. I promise you will not regret it. She's on IG as Lew's Heavenly Treats and Facebook. Go see for yourself. ???
