We came here after visiting Charlestowne Landing for lunch and it was a great choice. I was with 3 kids, aged 8-12 and they all found something they liked on the kids menu. I decided to try the Korean BBQ tacos and they were amazing. The server was prompt and attentive. Everyone liked their meal. We were quite happy and I would highly recommend.

Not like any other place that you go to get sushi with your friends. They have your basic rolls, but they also have so many great sushi rolls not like anything you've ever seen anywhere else. Our favorites: Locals Lovers, Mount Pleasant, Big Kahuna, and Torched Salmon. Tuesday nights are half off sushi and we tried to come with a group of 7 girls and the service was quite slow, but all of our orders were correct and they didn't even auction them off, which is very impressive. There was even live music inside, but you can't overlook the outside bar in their parking lot! Such a good spot with a little something for everyone. NOT JUST A SUSHI PLACE!

This was a great pick for lunch. I ordered sushi, which was very good. This is a neat fusion restaurant with sushi and also a bar menu. Moderate pricing and good service.

I've been to Locals three times over the course of the past 6 months and it has been mostly a good time. Tonight we stopped by to grab a quick bite and I got a firecracker roll and the wife got a wedge salad and some chicken wings. All was good except for the wings, which were very tuff...not sure if they were over cooked or had been in the freezer too long...not the same wings that we got the last time we visited..:skip the wings and grab something else.

Paid a lot for sushi a few months ago and it was horrible quality and just thrown in a container. Spend your money at sake house instead.

First time going there, if you like sushi they have the selection, if your curious they are very helpful. Great atmosphere and service. Would definitely recommend them for small or large groups as well as family friendly place. Can't wait to go back and try something new!

Sushi and sports bars are not normal pairings, but locals pulls it off regularly. I have been to three locals restaurants and each have been well run with good sushi. This is our go-to for sushi.

My daughter recommended this place for their happy hour sushi. This place did not disappoint. Since our sushi place has closed we haven't found a good place to eat sushi since. The place was hopping and had a great atmosphere and the wait staff was great. The sushi was very good. This place will most likely be in the regular rotation for us eating out.

First time here! My daughter told us about Tuesday half price sushi, so we thought we would give it a try. So glad we did .... The sushi was fresh and very good. I also had midnight mule which was awesome! The service was great too! I think we will be back next Tuesday!

Best sushi in Charleston... especially half of Tuesday's! My gf and I come all the time on half off and it never misses. I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

we really enjoy sushi & live music here. The sushi is always plated well and taste good. Sadly, the service has gotten worse & worse. Tonight wasn't super slammed when were there. The outdoor bartender was on her own time and ignored me at the bar for roughly 14 minutes. I mean like flat out avoided eye contact (unless you were a man or already drunk and spending lots of $$$). I finally asked her if I could get a few beers. She said, "sure". and then helped about 6 more people. Finally, I just walked away. Service was super slow and nobody seems to be efficient. we arrived around 6pm didn't leave until 8:10pm. We had a party of 4, and one persons hibachi arrived 30 minutes before our sushi did. he was done eating and his dishes were cleaned up WAY before we ever got our sushi. They thought they forgot his meal.... that's how long the gap was. We were also charged for a beer we didn't order. At that point though, we were so ready to go so we just ate the cost. Not an enjoyable experience this evening.

Love love love. Tuesdays in west ash are always the best! The sushi is great ... especially when it's half off. The staff is kind and the service is usually great and timely. Plus, the wait is not as long as the mount pleasant location. Live music is always a plus as well!

We've always heard great things about Locals West Ashley and decided to go out and give it a try. Our bartender was a little ball of energy and was polite and sweet throughout the entire visit. We don't remember her name but she was on the shorter side with reddish blonde hair. We had a blackberry mule & a spicy margarita both which were delicious . We were curious about our cocktails not being in glasses but our bartender explained that they dont really do glass on the patio. We noticed during our stay a group of people were giving her a hard time and decided to call her names, and overall were not acting very Christian like as they claimed to be . Maybe the church of Karen's or something. I'm not sure what possessed an entire group of people to treat someone so poorly but we were appalled by their behavior. It appears some of us need to do a little more reading of the Bible (and perhaps the signs) . Our bartender did apologize to us about the disturbance and we noticed she apologized to others customers about the issue as well. Our banging shrimp and calamari were off the chain as well as our sushi. They have a variety of different sauces to accompany we chose some type of spicy ponzu sauce, eel and white. We cannot wait to back on half price night and to try some more delicious sushi!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cheesesticks! The sushi was good but I have had better! The Ranch was some of the best I've had! I would come back but could have definitely paid with cash had I known they charge you to use cards. Our bill was only $61 but with taxes and fees our total was over $70. What is a hospitality fee? That was just one of the added fees to our bill!
