I got in the Charleston the other day and try this place it is real good I kind of wanted to go to a place that wasn't real touristy. I had the shrimp and crawfish etouffee it was real good the cornbread was exceptionally good. The waitress was very helpful and very friendly great place will go again

I had the alligator bites basket. We also enjoyed the duck fries. They have climate controlled tents for all the overflow. They let you make reservations online but when we got there they acted like that was not really a thing. I don't know if this is the norm or just that particular day.

The food was very very good!I ordered the fried shrimp basket and the boudin balls. I also had a watermelon margarita and was only planning to have one and then it was soooo good I ordered another. I love the indoor out door atmosphere and the staff was so friendly. The manager approached us twice to make sure everything was good. Overall experience was very good and I have already been here prior and I will be back again!

LoLA is a great place for casual dining. We had arrived early, but the only space was the heated tent. My partner and I shifted spaces to accommodate the differences in our personal thermostats. The result was mutual comfort.I had called earlier, confirming LoLA had soft shell crab. The waitress knew that the crab had been a luncheon special, but did not know about dinner.Soft shell crab was on for dinner. I ordered the po'boy sandwich and my partner ordered the crab salad. We had the cajan shrimp poppers. They were delicious with juicy, moist shrimp in flavorful crisp coating. Our crab dishes arrived. We were disappointed. Crab has a soft delicate flavor. Unfortunately, this was overpowered by the highly seasoned, heavily breaded coating on our crustaceans. Was this bad? No! But not what we had anticipated. Entirely our fault. We have been to LoLA before, enjoyed the fare. Will certainly be back, but not for soft shell crab.

We stopped here for a quick dinner before we headed off to the Kenny Chesney concert @ Credit One Stadium in May 2023. We were a party of 8. The staff handled us well. We had a great dinner to the start off our evening. The food was delicious, we had the duck fries and the fried shrimp. it was a busy night but we were takin care of promptly and properly. Loved the vibe of the place. My first, but not last visit here.Parking: Parking lot across street.

Good food!

I got take out, which maybe isn't the best choice for fried food. Nonetheless, the shrimp and crayfish were excellent. The cornbread wasn't great, even though I was excited about it. I also had the chowder which was pretty good. Service was excellent, and it was super easy to find and to park, which in Charleston was a big plus. Overall, I'd recommend LoLA and eat there again, but I wouldn't go out of my way, and I'd maybe opt for eat in.

I am so displeased with this establishment every time I arrive there for lunch or dinner they have some reason of why they’re not serving anyone or some excuse of why no one is allowed to eat at the restaurant it’s either understaffed or just profiling their guest I don’t what truly is the reason for always getting turned around or recommended to another neighboring restaurant when you clearly are looking for Cajun cuisine definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I’ve been turned away at least twice in the past year I’m beginning to become uninterested in what they have to offer

The employees were very nice. The food was amazing, they also have mocktails for those who don't or can't drink alcohol. They even had bug spray for the outside tables and citronella candles! Can't wait to go again!

Lola's was suggested to us, we're from out of town. When we pulled up, sort of shocked. Our waitress was not enthusiastic or anything. She asked us was it our 1st time, no suggestions on what to order or anything. We had oysters Rockefeller, just ok over powered with Spinach. Fried Green Tomatoes just something to eat. No flavor. I had fried shrimp basket, just something to eat. My fiance had Blackened Redfish, collards and Creole rice, came out cold , food was just ok. Great place to have a drink and unwind. Not really my cup of tea. Food is really not that tasty.
