I've eaten at a few other "Mellow Mushrooms" and had a pretty good experience. Unfortunately, this pizza in Charleston was just "OK". Pepperoni pizza was loaded with orange grease. We had calzone, cheese and pepperoni pizzas, and all tasted like cheap cheese and ingredients. Crust was actually decent. Although our particular server was decent, the demeanor of other staff was a bit "too mellow" for me. For the price, don't think we will be back.

Absolutely disgusting pizza, way too much cheese on the pizza. I'm talking like there a thicker layer of cheese then crust. My friends pizza was undercooked, the chicken on my pizza tasted horrible and I immediately threw up after eating my pizza. Waited 45 minutes for worst pizza I've ever had. DO NOT EAT THE PIZZA I STILL FEEL SICK.

I went there twice on my trip. First time was just for drinks. We were served by a bartender who was very impersonal but chatty with the regulars. Made my husband a drink that he couldn't finish because it wasn't good and had a fruit fly in it. My drink was very good. Second time, we ordered pizza to go. When I called back the next day(we were headed out of town) to tell them the pizza dough was undercooked and we had to throw it away, they weren't apologetic, just sceptical. She asked me,"Didn't you see the pizza before you left?". How would I have known the dough was undercooked? This was not the mellow mushroom experience I remember. Said a manager would get back to me and I never heard back.
